Bucky stared down at her, not speaking a word for what felt like an eternity. She was glaring right back, eyes filled with steel, and this was not something she would change her mind on. Of course, he did not have much of a say in it anyway. Finding her way there would not be difficult for her.

"What?" He asked, narrowing his eyes as if he was not understanding the words leaving her lips.

"I will go to England as well," she solemnly spoke, and he let out a laugh, the anger only rising in her.

"What d'you mean you're going to England as well?" He laughed out, shaking his head, but he stopped soon enough as she was not budging, and he realised perhaps she was not kidding. "But you're a woman?"

"What does that have to do with anything?" She sourly asked, and his smile now dropped completely, lips parting.

"There aren't any women soldiers," he explained in a less jokey voice, but she, very unimpressed, raised an eyebrow.

"I'm a soldier – a good one," she said, placing her hands at her sides. Bucky slumped down, there was a presence about her that made him step back, as if she suddenly seemed much more intimidating than previously.

"I guess you could travel over as a civilian?" He questioned mostly to himself. "The army won't take any women."

"I don't need permission to fight," she said and relaxed her body, throwing the last piece of bread into her mouth.

"I'm not saying you do," he grinned, becoming more amused as he laughed. With how much she could worry, he didn't expect her to be so assertive at the same time. "But that's just how the world works."

"Your world," she corrected with a sly grin, and he nodded, but her heart swelled as he agreed with her. He did not mind her fighting, but it was an odd occurrence for him.

"My world... Can you really fight?" He questioned and shook his head in bewilderment. With every new thing, all he got was more questions than answers. She truly was... remarkable.

"I can more than simply fight," she smirked, more than confident in her abilities. "My mother trained me for various sword fighting styles along with martial combat." Bucky's mouth continued to be slacked open, and honestly, she was quite satisfied with his surprise.

"That's one hell of a mom," he puffed, watching her with awe as the sun cascaded through the buildings, hitting her tan skin perfectly. "... What I wanted to originally say..."

"Oh! I'm so sorry. I did not mean to interrupt," she said, looking truly sorrowful, and once again, the awe overtook Bucky. He didn't think this in a light manner, but he'd never met anyone like her before.

"It's all good- but, anyway, I was gonna go see if I could find a buddy of mine. Find out whereabout he might be," Bucky explained and looked down an alleyway. "I've got a few ideas where he could be."

"Where is that?" She asked in quite a cool voice, making him exhale sharply in amusement before turning to her again.

"He's about as determined to fight as you are," he laughed and she sheepishly grinned, knowing how her previous words might have come off.

"Well, then he sounds interesting to me," she smiled and followed him as he curved down a street.

Melora and Bucky wandered through the streets, talking to various people he knew to find out where his friend might be, and it did not take long. It seemed like Bucky knew exactly where his friend was.

They were next to something called a Cinema, or movie theatre, there were two different names on the board, but they did not go inside. They did not need to as they walked past an alleyway and Bucky turned to walk down it.
