~White Fang Hideout~
Adam Taurus walked in briskly through the large doors into an even larger throne room, and spoke in a low voice to the White Fang members that were gathered there, "Step away from my throne. We have work to do" The White Fang members looked at each other, and then turned to face Adam.
Goon 1: "We? Everyone knows what you did. You abandoned your brothers and sisters at Haven" Adam slowly approached the large chair; the aforementioned throne; and when he spoke his voice had acquired a dangerous edge, "Step. Away. From my..."
Goon 2: "We don't take orders from you anymore"
Goon 3: "We heard you folded the moment you got sass from the Belladonna girl. I guess she's got more control over you than you..." He never got to complete his statement. There was no way he could, his throat had been slit after all. As the members of the White Fang looked on in surprise, Adam sprung to action, and in a few seconds, the 8 White Fang goons in the throne room lay dead at his feet. Adam slowly took a seat on the throne and looked out at the corners of the room, losing himself to his thoughts.
Adam: "The Belladonna girl..." He then got to his feet, "...Blake..." In a swift movement, he turned around and swiped his blade at the throne, cutting off the top of the seat. As the chunks of wood and metal fell to the ground, Adam let out a scream of rage.
"I'm coming for you Blake..."

'It's been two weeks since the attack on Haven. The official reports say that the plot to destroy the Mistral CCT Tower was thwarted by Ghira Belladonna and the Faunus militia group from Menagerie. A huntsman and some students coincidentally visisting the Headmaster were also able to lend some assistance. Unfortunately, Leonardo Lionheart lost his life trying to defend his school, and those responsible for organising the attack managed to escape. As I'm sure you can guess, there's a lot more to this report than I'm willing to say in this letter, but for now what I'm trying to say is, we're on our way to Atlas, James. There's a good chance we'll get to you before this letter does, but in case we don't, I need to let you know that we're bringing a lot more than bad news with us.
See you soon.
Qrow.'Kai nodded after reading the letter Qrow wrote to the General, "Well, it looks pretty alright to me" Qrow took the letter back from Kai, "Let's hope it's enough" As he slid the letter into the mail, he was suddenly bumped into as an excited Ruby ran past him.
Qrow: "Hey watch it" Kai laughed lightly, "What's with the running Ruby?" Ruby replied, still jogging off excited, "Well what's with the standing, it's almost time!" She then ran off further into the train station, to where the rest of the group sat in anticipation.
Yang: "And?" Ruby grined and revealed a gift bag she had been hiding behin her bag, courtesy of the train station's gift shop. Weiss rolled her eyes, "What an absolute waste of..." Yang interrupted by rushing over to Ruby excitedly, "What did you get me?" Ruby replied in a sing song voice, "You'll have to wait and seee"
Yang: "No fair!" As Ruby stuck out her tongue at her sister, Yang made a grab for the gift bag but missed, and then suddenly, Nora appeared in between the two of them.
Nora: "Oh I can't believe we're taking the train to Argus! The beautiful Northern Coastline! You think it's too early for beach teasing?"
Ren: "Unfortunately. But, we will be one step closer to Atlas"
Weiss: "Hmph. Well I'm glad you're all excited. I don't think you appreciate the trouble I went through to leave Atlas"
Ruby: "I know you're worried Weiss, but trust us. Team RWBY won't leave your side for a second. Promise" As Weiss smiled warmly at her team leader, a loud voice suddenly approached them, "No one's got to be worried with us around". The group turned to look at the new arrivals, which were two dweebish looking huntsmen with obnoxious expressions on their faces.
Nora: "Aaaaaaand you are?"
Dweeb 1: "Why Dee and Dudley of course. The Argus Limited's very own huntsmen. We'll be keeping everyone safe as we pass through Grimm territoty"
Dweeb 2(Dudley): "Buuut for a generous tip, we can make sure your passenger car get's extra special attention, should things get...dangerous" He winked at the girls, who looked on with visible disgust. Luckily, they were saved.
Kai: "Well we've got a tip for you"
Qrow: "Buzz off" The dark haired father son duo took their positions between the huntsmen and the girls; Qrow in front of Ruby, hands in his pockets, and Kai in front of Yang, arms folded.
Kai: "Don't tell me you two are the best Argus Limited has to offer"
Qrow: "Looks like Mistral's really scraping the bottom of the barrels these days" As they spoke, Ruby and Yang made silly mocking faces at the dweeb hunstmen, who were starting to look frustrated.
Dee: "Hey watch it. You're talking to..."
Qrow & Kai: "...Professional Huntsmen, right." The duo raised up their hands simultaneously, showcasing their respective huntsman licenses, much to Dee and Dudley's surprise.
Qrow: "Looks like one of you heroes left the staff entrance to the caboose wide open" As Dee and Dudley looked towards the train in alarm, Kai added, "Better check that out quick. Would be a shame to lose your jobs before it even started" Dee looked at Dudley with an accusatory glare, causing the latter to stutter, "I-I-I didn't do it" Dee groaned, "Come on dummy" And the two walked away.
Oscar: "Heh, you know, sometimes the burden of saving the world feels overwhelming. But then people like that come along and make me grateful that it's our job and not theirs" At that remark, the rest of the group nodded in unison, "Mm-hmm"
Qrow: "So, you kids ready to go?" Kai turned to Yang, "Bike all loaded up?"
Yang: "Yup!"
Weiss: "Just waiting on Blake. As usual"
Kai: "Looks like she's still saying her goodbyes" Everyone turned to look at Blake standing by the escalator at the top of the balcony. She was having what seemed to be an emotional farewell with Sun, and Kai smiled at the scene. From what he and the others had been told, Sun had followed Blake ever since the Fall of Beacon. He had been there for her, supported her during the White Fang fiasco in Menagerie, all the way to Haven.
'Looks like that one's a keeper' As soon as he thought these words, his vision suddenly blurred, and he began to see flashes of images. Hoardes of Grimm. The sky was blood red. And a woman. A pale skinned woman with glowing red eyes, her sclera pitch black. Kai had seen Salem before, thanks to Emerald's illusion at Haven Academy two weeks back. But back then, the illusion never spoke to him.
'Come...Kai...Come to meee...'
"Kai, you alright?"
Kai blinked once, twice, and the visions disappeared, and Kai's eyes settled on Yang's lilac orbs, staring at him with concern.
Yang: "You looked a little lost there. Everything okay?"
Kai: "Yeah...I'm fine"
Yang: "Well, come on then. The others are already leaving" Kai looked and sure enough, the rest of the group, Blake included, was moving to board the train, Argus Limited, and only Yang and Kai remained behind. Kai nodded and Yang moved away to rejoin the rest of the group. Kai waited a few seconds, then looked down at his open palm. His eyes glowed golden, and he produced a small fire ball in his hand. The golden flames danced for a second, then suddenly turned a deep red, and so did his eyes. Kai quickly put away the flames, his eyes reverting to their blue color. He let out a deep sigh, and then walked to catch up with Yang and the others.
