"𝕽ise and shine, little flower!" Mephisto exclaimed in a sing-sang tone of voice while he slided wide open the curtains of her room. He had given her all the space she needed after that evening when she arrived at his office in such a broken state. Violet never told him why she was so hurt, but he didn't press her on the matter when he realized she didn't want to talk about it. Ever since then, Violet had kept to herself and barely talked to anyone, her responses being limited to short sentences or just one word if it was even a choice. Mephisto walked over to the bed letting go of a sigh when he saw the girl pulling the covers over her head. "Come on Violet, we have a lot to do today." He said while he sat next to her and gently pulled down the covers off her face, earning a groan of displeasure from her. "Can I count on you for the day?" He asked her while he moved her purple silky hair away from her face.
"Yeah." Violet groggily said while slightly nodding her head.
"Good." He said with a kind smile and leaned forward to kiss her forehead. "Breakfast will be ready soon so I hope you can join me this morning." He added, hoping that he would be able to share some family time with her. It's been days since he and Violet shared time together, even when he was busy he managed to at least spend their meals time together but the past few days had been difficult with how down she was.
Violet waited for her father to leave the room before getting out of the bed to get ready for the day. It was one of her many appointments with Haruhi but the night before her father had informed her that he had taken the rest of the day off to spend time with her. She really didn't want to do anything else after her appointment but she already felt bad enough that she had been so distant with her father. She got out of the shower and went to her walk-in closet to search for her outfit of the day, settling for a very pale green ruffled off-the-shoulder blouse with long sleeves with white high waisted skinny jeans and slip-on sneakers to match with pale green laces. She put on a white choker with a small pendant out of the jewel box and styled her hair by leaving two curly purple locks falling by her cheeks, bookending neat bangs. The rest of her hair was pulled back behind her head where it fell loosely, with some spilling out in front of her shoulders.
The girl unplugged her cellphone before getting out of the room and joining her father at the dining table. A wide smile appeared on Mephisto's face when Violet sat down on her usual spot near him at the head of the table. "Morning." She greeted both demons in the room before sitting on her seat near her father. Belial placed a plate of french toast with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and small pieces of strawberries and blueberries scattered all over it and filled her glass with orange juice. "Thank you, Belial." She quietly said with a tiny smile, earning a nod from the demon himself.
"So after your appointment with Haruhi, we will be heading to the city to pick up our costumes for the convention and then buy some things you'll need for your summer lessons with Kitoshi."
