ACT THREE + AMETHYST
"a heart's sacrifice"
𝕿he trio walked into the auditorium in search of a good spot where they could see the stage without any problem. After her father left, Violet joined Tsuki and Rika at the entrance, each one of them welcoming her in a different way. Rika was content to finally see the girl, excited that she was going to be around more people besides anyone that wasn't part of the Fallen Ones. Tsuki on the other hand, was still fighting with his sleepy state, but also a little concern for Violet due to the people — most likely the brunette — she came with. All he could think about was how uncomfortable and sad Violet was the day before when they found her with him. Tsuki never questioned her but he was an observant, he never liked to jump into assumptions without having the right information before saying anything. He never was one to get on people's business, finding it troublesome to carry someone else's burden on top of his own. They found a spot with three empty seats in the middle, the three of them sitting next to each other, leaving Violet right in the middle. "I thought you'll be the representative for your class." Tsuki commented on her side, drawing the attention of the purple haired girl away from the stage.
"It wouldn't be appropriate for the principal's daughter to take the place, it's not a good image for the academy nor my father since it could be seen as favoritism." Violet explained to him with a small smile. "Besides, the person who is representing us worked really hard to get where he is now, and he really deserves this." She said with all honesty. It didn't matter how weird things were between her and Yukio, she never resented him, she always felt proud of him every time she heard of his accomplishments.
"I guess that could be understandable." He said while he leaned back on his seat and rested his cheek over his right hand. "Do you have therapy with Haruhi today?"
Violet hummed in a confirming tone of voice. "I'll be taking them while you guys are in class." She said to him while she took a look at her gloved hands. "Dad asked me to show someone around the school after this. Are you guys going to be okay going to the Cram School yourself?
Tsuki eyed her from the corner of his eyes for a brief second and down to her hands, caughting a slight tremble in them before she tightly held them. "We'll be fine, but how about you?" He questioned her, noticing how she let go of her own hands and rested them on top of her tights. Tsuki looked up, and a soft smile graced her lips when their eyes met before she nodded at him. "If Daisuke can't take you back home right after, just let me know."
"Okay." She quietly said with a small smile on her face before looking ahead of them. It hasn't been long since Violet was assigned to be a member of the Fallen ones. They always looked out for each other but Tsuki was the most protective when it came to both Violet and Rika — and being the oldest, he always had the sense that he had to take care of them.
The lights in the auditorium became dimmer letting the ones on the stage be the brighter ones in the room. "It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to True Cross Academy this morning." One of the teachers on the stage said through the microphone, making the audience stop their chit-chat and pay attention on the stage. "I wish to congratulate each of you, first for your effort and dedication to continue your studies and second, for choosing True Cross Academy as the new chapter of your life. True Cross Academy puts all its students at the center of everything it does, your experience here at the academy and your success is important to each and every staff member that works here." The teacher paused for a second, letting the applause from the students die down. "To open today's orientation we want to welcome our freshman representative, Yukio Okumura."
