𝖁iolet found herself out of bed earlier than usual, using her phone's flashlight to walk down the dark halls — not wanting to wake up the others in the building so early. She didn't sleep many hours, waking up an hour before the others were supposed to do so. In the spare time she had on her own — finding it to be best for her to look at the scene — Violet managed to run her own investigation on the attack. There wasn't much she could find, except for the little clues that she could find in the scene leaving her with empty conclusions and assumptions that didn't prove anything. Already changed into her uniform, Violet made it to the cafeteria, her thumbs tapping over her phone, writing a message to her father on the matter.
The girl approached the counter separating the cafeteria from the kitchen area and sat on one of the stools, her gaze finally moving away from the screen when she tapped the send button on the screen. "Morning." Violet greeted both Ukobach — who was working on making breakfast — and the brunette sitting not too far from her.
"Morning." Yukio said to her while putting down the white mug between his hands on the counter.
"Do you have time?" She asked him and turned around to see him. Just like her, he was already on his usual exorcist attired and noticing the briefcase resting on the stool between them. "I already went to check where the demon attacked last night, there is not much I can tell you until Kira gets here to track it down."
"Its tracks should be cold by now. Wouldn't it be meaningless to go after it now?" He wondered aloud.
"Perhaps." Violet said while slightly pursing her lips a little bit. "Rika managed to tear some flesh from it last night while she and Rin tried to keep it away from the girls." She informed him, her purple eyes briefly moving to her phone when it vibrated against the surface — her father had written her back. "The tracks will be faint but it at least should take me to a place where it could either go along with my conclusion or completely discard it." Violet added before looking at him with a serious expression on her delicate face. "Yukio, you and I know this attack wasn't a coincidence nor an accident either." She said, earning a deep frown from the brunette. "With what Rika managed to hear during the commotion, the demon was communicating with Rin and for what it said it is not hard to deduce that he is being targeted. It would be best to keep an eye on him just in case another attack happens."
"As long as he is surrounded by others, he'll be fine." Yukio quietly said, already having an idea why they could be after his brother. However, he didn't want to share the reason behind it — unbeknown to him that the girl sitting in front of him already knew of it as well. "Besides my brother being the target, what are your conclusions?"
"I didn't get a good look at it, except for a split second but I could tell it was a higher level Naberius, right?" She said and earned a quiet nod from the brunette that confirmed her observation. "Even with the barriers and charms protecting the Academy, every now and then some demons are able to sneak in. However, a Naberius on that level would definitely alert my father the moment it sat foot on the Academy ground."
