Ultraman Taiyo

Taiyo episode 6 Wolf in sheep's clothing

It was getting dark. Brandon, who had been apprehended by a MEG agent, was transferred to a IRS operative's vehicle for transport. He simply looked to the side seeing nothing but small rain droplets patter on the car. Taiyo was low on energy, due to his fight with Red King in its EX form. With this in mind, Brandon knew he was in for a long drive. It felt like ages and ages until, they were back in Temere city. Brandon thought that their base of operations was near the city but, when they were on the freeway the car took a turn to the fishing village. They soon passed it and kept driving. It was now a forest with dark brown trailing being the only guide the car had. A loud growl could heard in the distance. The driver just ignored it, in his head a cougar wasn't going to fare well against his blaster. "Where are we going? I'm not joking around, where are you taking me?" The driver didn't respond though. It was then that Brandon noticed a large building that was relatively well camouflaged. The car stopped at the garage gate waiting for clearance.

Meanwhile, in a nearby clearing, the Alien Icarus had been following Brandon's transportation for a while. He had been stalking the vehicle for almost a hour. The Alien looked at Brandon with rage, but he knew that if he attacked the car now he would get fired on. They were already at the base and it would be a more fruitful endeavor if he killed the Ultraman and sabotaged the IRS base. ("Patience, is key.") The Alien knew he wouldn't get past on his own. ("I'll turn on my cloak, although it will run out of power if I use it this time. I'll just disguise as one of those humans once I get inside.") He then teleported behind the door just before the technician's desk. A loud noise was heard that sounded like a loud thump. The technician turned around but went back to verifying the vehicle before her.

"Access granted DELTA-2. You may proceed to the garage." The technician then opened the gate with the car passing through. Brandon felt his shackles and cuffs tighten his wrists, but something else would grab his attention. The driver got out and grabbed Brandon's arm taking him to an elevator. They went up two floors before he was taken to a waiting room. The agent sat next to him, as he waited patiently. A man in a uniform with green and black coloring stepped out.

"I'm heading out since it's no longer my shift. Put him in the interrogation room while I get the commander." The agent grabbed Brandon once again and they walked through a small room where there was one way glass. The agent then put him in the interrogation room and locked the door from the outside before pulling a chair and sitting down, viewing him on the other side of the glass. The commander walked in the room, silver hair and all.

"Agent Sanders, you're free to go." Sanders nodded and left the viewing room. Two other figures walked in the room. It was Lynn and Eric, and Lynn walked in the interrogation room while the commander and Eric watched.

"So kid, looks like you got captured again. Thank goodness your transport didn't get interrupted by a monster, right?" Brandon just sat there silently, looking at her neutrally. "Well, let's get this started."

"So exhibit A, you have been seen near or around the area that Ultraman Taiyo manifests. How do you explain that?"

"I have shitty luck. I honestly just live my life, and then he and some monster shows up."

"A flimsy response but, considering we have giant monsters, aliens, and a undercover organization like this so, I can see where you are coming from. Exhibit B, you knew the giant's name, you claimed it saved you, and you showed up after the battle ended. That's very strange. This Ultraman Taiyo has had no other claims of it speaking to anyone else, let alone directly saving them. So tell me, how can you explain this, and what were you doing before Taiyo manifested all those times?"

"Honestly don't know, he just picked me up out of harm's way. He told me when I asked him who he was and he put me near a untouched building with some move or technique. As for those times Taiyo manifested, the first time was when I went out to drink with a friend. The second time I went to the showing like everyone else, the third time I was in my house during a heat wave and later I went to a fishing village and decided to help a old man, the fourth time you took me against my will and I escaped when I had the chance. Also, I wasn't even there that time when Taiyo showed up. The fifth time, I was at a wedding."
