It was noon when a building started burning on the east side of the city. Taiyo arrived on the scene quickly. The building was tall-ish and was primarily used for business conglomerates would meet to compare sales and ratings. Many people were trapped near the top, those on the bottom got to escape quickly. Fire trucks were already there too, but they were having difficulty getting in. Crowds of people watched behind the blockade of tape and fence that prevented them from moving further. Many news trucks were parked outside as well.

Taiyo put his hands on his chest similar to how Zoffy charges up his M78 ray. He then extended his right arm outward, shooting water from his right hand. The water started to put out the flames bit by bit. This gave the firefighters many an opportunity to run in and save the people at the top of the building. The ultra was about to fly away when he heard an odd creaking sound from the top floor. Upon further inspection, it turned out that the floor was going to collapse. Not only that, there were people still on the top floor. The floor started to give way, and the front half of the floor, along with part of the wall fell down. The people on it ran to the back of the or corners of the floor. Taiyo shot small blasts at the debris, blowing it away. He then held part of the floor to make it stable enough for the people to get saved by the firefighters.

That was when Taiyo heard a ringing noise. It sounded like it had a certain rhythm. Brandon could also hear it. That was when he felt something vibrate in his left pocket. "Oh, it's my phone." Brandon reached into his pocket and answered the phone.

("Uh Brandon, I am kind of trying to focus right now. It would be appreciated if you wouldn't distract me.")

Brandon leaned away from the phone and whispered.

"C'mon, you're doing a great job, just concentrate." Brandon then turned back to the phone. "Now, hello? Yes, yes, oh. So it's happening this Thursday. Oh, up until Saturday? Wait, does he have to be there? C'mon, me and him don't really see eye to eye man. Yeah I know Brady and Samantha will be there, but at least I'm cool with them." Brandon sighed. "I'll be there, what time does it start. Okay, alright, bye dude." He then hung up the phone and put it in his pocket. After a few minutes the people got out. Taiyo let go of the floor and soon the top half of the building collapsed. Luckily, everyone was at a safe distance when the collapse happened, however Taiyo was covered in dust. He nodded at the humans before flying away.

Brandon walked over to his car, which he parked only a few blocks away. He got in and started to drive home to his apartment. ("So....mind telling me why you were having a conversation during the fire?")

"It's nothing."

("It's clearly something.")

"It's a reunion. I want to go, but at the same time, I have my reasons for not going."

"Reunion for what?"

"High school. Usually it's every ten years after graduation, but for some weird reason it's only happening after four years."

("Is it because you'd rather stay home and sleep, or rather, so you can play video games for hours on end? Maybe both in the same night?")

"No. Different reasons."

("Well either way, it would be nice to see some first hand earth celebrations.")

"This isn't Christmas or Halloween, it's just a reunion." Brandon finally reached the apartment and drove into the small parking lot next to it. He parked his car before walking into the building. He soon got back to his apartment and opened the door. He closed it and walked over to his fridge. It had been a day or two since it got cleared out, so he did have to restock it a little bit more. He grabbed a bottle of water and started drinking it. That was when he heard a knock at his door.
