Steves POV

I land on obsidian, and look up to see enderman everywhere. I shiver as I turn and see no portal back. This is bad. How do I get out of here?!

I bolt across the new terrain, until I see large obsidian columns. Then I hear those gut wrenching sound. A loud roar, screeching throughout the air, comes from behind one of the columns. It's a dragon.

I fall onto my back, feeling terrified.
The beast floats above me, breathes in heavily, and blows purple fire out of his mouth.
I close my eyes tight, believing I am about to die.

Herobrines POV

I feel something strange. A sense of worry, and all I can think about is Steve. I teleported to his home, but he was not there. Likewise, nowhere in sight at the village.

Something in the back of my mind says he's in danger. Then I hear a roar in my head.

The ender dragon.

I teleport to the END as we call it. As soon as I'm there, I see the dragon, and Steve on the ground.

Lots going to kill him. I simply cannot allow that, no matter how much I want that dragon to work for me.

I teleport in front of Steve, using my nether powers to create a shield. The flames hit it, causing me to growl as the weight increases. Once the dragon stops blowing the fire, it flies into the air.
I pick Steve up, and teleport him to a safe distance.

"Here, hold off the enderman."

I hold out an enchanted diamond sword. Steves eyes grow as he grabs it tightly. I leave him, and teleport to one of the obsidian columns. I shoot a fireball at the beast, causing it to quickly fly towards me. When it gets close enough, I leap onto its back, and struggle to reach its neck. It's flipping around, roaring to get me off. This makes it difficult, but I grab onto its head, and shove my hand onto its throat.

The beast behind to lash and throw its head around. My nether power slowly burns into its throat. After a few seconds, the beast falls. I teleport to the ground, and see Steve stabbing the final enderman. I walk slowly towards him, the dragon falling behind me and exploding.

Steve looks terrified, and yet, oddly starstruck.
