Herobrine has teleported around the area, searching for the presence again. It was so close, but now it's gone. Vanished. Could this thing teleport? That would explain some things. Whatever it was, it felt strong. Too strong. It didn't matter by this point. The being was gone, and Herobrine knew he couldn't find it, even if he searched all day. He teleported to Steve's house, where Steve was not present. Probably still talking to Notch, Herobrine thought, dreading every second of it.
He made it to the door when he felt something.

That presence again. Close.

Herobrine turned around slightly, seeing a shadowy figure behind him. It was under a tree, and the storm clouds forming above didn't help.

H: "You there, don't move."
Herobrine spoke sternly, wondering if Notch could sense its presence this far out.

The being chuckled a bit, red eyes finally appearing.
"You gonna stop me fallen god?"

Herobrine didn't move an inch. Those white eyes just stared at the being, on edge at how intelligent it was.

"That's right. I know all about you Herobrine."

It's voice sounds glitchy, and the particles around it are messing up and scattering around.

H: "Who are you?"

Herobrine asks, feeling himself getting more anxious.

"I am a virus."

A virus? Herobrine had heard Notch complain about these viruses in the past, but it was always something digital. These viruses interrupted his work in his programming.

H: "A virus.."

Herobrine mumbles quietly, wondering if he should try to avoid touching it.

"That's right. I'm nobody, just a black hole in Notch's programming. An entity if you will. Now that I'm here, there's no getting rid of me."

Herobrine watches as the being steps forward just a bit.

H: "What's your intentions?"

The being chuckles, half its laugh glitching out.

"I'm gonna do what every virus does. I'm gonna destroy this place and every being in it, including myself."

Herobrine steps down off the steps, taking that as an immediate threat.

H: "I won't allow that to happen."

Again, the being chuckles.

"You were just like me! You wanted to destroy this world and everyone in it! So what's with the hero act?! You've got nothing to live for, so why not join me?!"

Herobrine says nothing, but stands firm.

"Oh, could be that human?"

Herobrine twitches a bit.

H: "Don't talk about him."

"It is~"
The being says with a grin.
"I remember seeing that code. The first ever human your brother created. Made in your image right? But you fuck him don't you? You're sick Herobrine."

Herobrine grits his teeth as his purple aura surrounds him.
The being steps out of the shadows and into the light.

"No matter. Steve will be dead soon enough."

Herobrine teleports close to the being, then punches it right in the face. It flies backwards, hitting the tree. Herobrine immediately regrets that decision. His hand starts hurting, glitching a bit from the touch. He shakes it, trying to stop the pain, but it doesn't seem to help. The being quickly retaliates, kicking Herobrine in the gut. The two tussle, blood coming from them both. Herobrines all glitchy, his form altered from the repeated touching. One eye is normal, his other is glitched. Herobrine leans against a tree, weak, hopeless. The being starts to walk closer, ready to end his opponent.

S: "Herobrine!"

The two powerful brings freeze, both eyes wide. Herobrine stares up, looking behind the being to see Steve. The being grins, losing all his track of thought. Steve. The first human. He should be the first to die. Killing an immortal would be the ultimate proof of power. The being takes one step towards Steve, then he's stopped. Herobrine grabs the beings neck and slings him around. He continues to sling the being around, even though all his strength is drained and he's glitching out all over.
Steve dashes for the house, where Flare runs up with a diamond sword in her mouth. There's a bit of blood, where the blade cut her mouth. She must know how serious this is. Steve takes the sword, and tells her to stay.

S: "Herobrine!"
Steve shouts throwing the sword. Herobrine glances back as its blade lands in the ground. The being beings to fight back more, trying to grab the sword being Herobrine.
Steve see's a tree, low to the ground. He crawls under it, watching as the two powerfully thrash each other around. Herobrine manages to grab the sword first. He stomps down on the beings arm, keeping him on the ground. He then shoves the sword into the beings chest. He stares down at the being, bloody, exhausted, but relieved. That is, until the being chuckles. The being glitches away, slowly disintegrating beneath Herobrine. It vanishes with that laughter, leaving the storm behind to soak Herobrine.
His white eyes look to the tree where Steve is.

H: "Steven?"

Herobrine says softly, kneeling down. Steve looks up, seeing Herobrines body half glitched.

S: "Is it over?"

He asks, coming out from under the tree.

H: "For now. We should go see Notch. I can't feel much."

Steve nods, calling Flare as the travel back to the castle.
