"What is that thing?"
I shake my head a bit.
"I'm not sure. I just found it by a pool of lava."
Herobrine looks at me seriously.
"I suppose it is possible for an ender egg to be manipulated by lava. It's likely that the ender dragon's egg, has changed into a fire type egg."
My voice changes a bit.
"You mean, this is a fire dragon?"
Herobrine nods, smiling slightly.
"It's fine."
I frown, looking up at him.
"How is this fine?"
He speaks softly.
"If you raise the dragon right, maybe it won't be such a pain. I know you're not going to kill a defenseless egg, or a baby of any sort. So you'll just have to wait and see how it turns out."
I smile a bit. Raising something like this is almost overwhelming. However, if I can raise it right, I could change the way everyone sees a dragon.
~time lapse~

It's been a few months since I found the egg. Herobrine tells me it could be a dud, or unable to hatch. I'm not too worried about it. What I am worried about is my currently situation. The god of all things unholy has me pinned down. His mouth is on mine. I struggle to get free, and luckily I'm able to break our kiss.
"H-Herobrine, stop!"
He grins deviously, slowly sinking his hand down. I jerk, and tug, only stopping when I hear an odd sound. I peer over, seeing a crack in the egg.
"W-wait! The egg!"
Herobrine growls a bit.
"It's fine. It won't fall."
"N-no it's cracked!"
His white eyes look over to the egg, which begins cracking even more. He releases me, and we both go to the egg. Herobrine takes it off the pedestal, setting it carefully on the bed. We watch as it cracks and shakes. Finally, a little paw sticks from one of the holes in the cracks. I smile. It's so small, and it looks so...slimy.
Herobrine helps get the top shell off. I stare at the tiny dragon in disbelief. It's so amazing. Little golden eyes stare up at me. Herobrine comes back, scooping it up with a towel, getting all the slimy substance off of it. He sets it back down, smiling.
"It's a female."
I wrap her up in a blanket and hold her.
"What do we name her?"
I ask.
"You found her. So you pick."
I gaze down at her red scales, and those golden eyes.

"I think I'll name her...Flare."
