-One week later-

"Holy shit," I muttered, hititng the snooze button of my alarm clock. I rubbed my eyes, turning onto my other side. I let my eyes close.

Wait a minute. My eyes open again and I jump out of bed, rushing the calender hung up on the back of my door. It's August 4! Today is the rehersal dinner. I skip to the bathroom and get into the shower. I was in a good mood today. For me it was unknown since tomorrow I was going to watch my dad and my cousin get married (as weird as it sounds) but in all honesty I'm happy for them. It obviously took a while and I didn't handle it very well but my family needs to move on, so if this is how it's going to be then it's fine.

Plus, their marriage shouldn't affect me. It's not my life, it's theirs.

This past week has been very busy. Kory was stressed out for the wedding and my dad was a little more relaxed. Everything was set and planned to perfection as Kory had asked it to be. The wedding was going to be quite big so i'm going to be seeing many people I haven't seen in ages.

I start my shower and try to calm down my nerves. I was a little nervous for the dinner tonight. I'm not even sure why, I just wanted it to go well and get it over with.

The dinner starts at seven so I had lot's of time to get ready. It was only ten in the morning and I wanted to get started on everything I needed to do before the dinner. After getting washed up I got some comfy clothes on and went to start drying my hair.

I spent the rest of the day inside with Ross. Kory and Dad were both busy with last minute stuff so it was just us two.

"Did you know Zach is flying in from Florida?" He said out of nowhere. I shook my head. I didn't know if my older brother was going to be attending since he was very busy himself and he wasn't happy with the news of Kory and dad's engagment at first.

"I didn't know that. At least four out of five of us will be at the wedding." Ross sighed, "I don't get why Kennedy is going to come. I thought after living with aunt Jamie and Owen she would want to come back."

"I don't think so little, bro. Not now at least. Don't worry about it too much, okay?" He nodded getting up, mumbling something about having to go pick something up for Zach before he came by. I went back up to my room and grabbed my phone. I had a missed text from Justin and one from Lee (Ashley Tisdale).

Ashley was just wishing me luck at the rehearsal dinner. I quickly reply to her and check Justin's text.

From Justin:

Do you want me to meet you at the reception tomorrow for the wedding?

To Justin:

Sure. I'll see you tonight a little before seven since we have to go early. Is that okay with you?

From Justin:

Sounds like a plan.

I put my phone back down and check the time. It's only two in the afternoon. I spend the rest of the day attempting to do my nails and getting some stuff done.

I hear the door open to my bedroom and Isabel pops in, sitting on my bed. "Are you nervous? Or is it just me?"

"I'm a little nervous," I chuckle, putting down the bottle of white nail polish. "It's not even my wedding and i'm freaking out. I can't even imagine what Kory is going though right now." She shivers, wrapping her arms around herself.
