In many ways their wedding day was quite typical. Y/N had to leave the apartment early, she had appointments for hair, nails and lastly makeup. During the ceremony KQ had decided that both Seonghwa and Y/N would wear hanbok. It would look the best for the photos they would take. Y/N was happy this wasn't her decision, then she didn't have to feel bad that she had ruined that for Seonghwa. He didn't seem too disappointed, though.

Getting dressed in the traditional korean outfit felt incredible. KQ had several people helping her, and when Y/N looked in the mirror, she actually felt quite special. Beautiful would be too big a word, but... At least she didn't feel like she ruined the idea of hanbok. She would never look petite like the beautiful korean brides she had seen so many pictures of, but this outfit was specially sown for her. It was a gorgeous outfit, and she was very grateful to be wearing it. She knew Seonghwa would be wearing corresponding colors, she was quite nervous about seeing him actually. What would he think about how she looked?

There would not be many guests. They were pretending this was a sudden idea Seonghwa and Y/N had, that they were so in love they just had to get married, the sooner the better, and poof, here they were. It was a way to avoid inviting too many people. Y/N had invited some friends, and two of them came, all the way from Europe, on short notice. Seonghwas parents and brother were there, a few other relatives of his and some friends, and of course, Ateez with their partners. The managers were also all invited, and a few other KQ employees. Maybe not that small a wedding after all, Seonghwa thought, as he welcomed each and everyone of them to the ceremony.

Standing there waiting for her to come out, was nerve-racking. He couldn't help to think about the kiss the night before. The long, heated kiss that made him have serious trouble sleeping. Sure, it was nothing to be ashamed of, it was completely natural that your body reacted the way his body had, but... This wasn't real. He had to do a better job of concealing how her kisses made him feel. He didn't want to make a scandal at his own wedding.

He forgot everything he was thinking as soon as the doors opened and she came out into the garden. Walking up the path towards him, she held Jonghos arm. She had asked Jongho to take her down the aisle as she had no family there, and he had accepted, and maybe shed a few years while hugging her.

But it wasn't Jongho the guests were looking at. It was the bride. In a beautiful hanbok wedding dress in white and grey tones, her dark hair shiny and held back with large white flowers, she looked beautiful. She was a wonderful mix of korean and european style, though the hanbok was prominent. Her elegance, the shy smile on her face, it all made Seonghwa emotional.

Woo grabbed Sans hand and squeezed it. He was crying, hard, as they watched Y/N walking towards Seonghwa.

«Are you okay, love?» San asked and put his arms around him.

Woo couldn't speak, he just smiled, but really he felt horrible. For some reason his first impression of her came to mind. He remembered very well what he had said, but no one ever mentioned it again. It was best forgotten. When he got to know her, he found her to be funny and thoughtful, a little crazy at times, and now he loved her. Looking at how beautiful she looked now, how could he ever have said something like that about her? He had called her fat. He had thought that was a bad thing. Yeah, he knew it was his own insecurities that shone through, but damn it! Was he really that bad a person?

«It's okay,» San whispered in his ear. «I love you.»

«I said bad things about her.»

«That was before you knew her. Now we all love her. She knows we love her.»

Woo took the tissue San gave him and tried to wipe his tears without ruining his makeup. He didn't deserve Sans love, he never had.
