The world once again swirled around the heroes, and suddenly they were in what looked like Ordon Village. A little boy, about 14 or 15, ran past them, and into the arms of a girl around the same age. "Haven't you heard Ilea?" asked the boy. "IT'S CHRISTMAS!" She shouted excitedly. The others looked at Twilight. "In my defense.... Yeah, I've got nothing, that's what most holidays were like for us" The two teens ran past them, and they followed them until they reached a large house. "The mayor's throwing a Christmas party?" asked Link. Ilea giggled. "Yeah, lets go, there's hot cocoa and presents and treats!" she insisted.
They both headed inside to where all the other people in the town were dressed festively, and were happily singing and dancing. "Link!" yelled a voice. A much younger boy ran into them both. "You guys are late.... Ilea.... You have to sing this year! Please?" Ilea laughed. "Of course I will, you think you'll be okay on your own Link?" Link laughed. "Yeah, I'll be fine, go ahead" She stepped up onto a make shift stage, and the entire crowd turned to look at her, she blushed but began to sing.
"Star of Bethlehem shining bright
Bathing the world in heav'nly light,
Let the glow of your distant glory
Fill us with hope this Christmas night.
Star of innocence, star of goodness
Gazing out since time began,
You who've lived through endless ages
View with love the age of man.
Star of beauty hear our plea,
Whisper your wisdom tenderly.
Star of Bethlehem set us free
Make us a world we long to see.
Star of Bethlehem, star up high,
Miracle of the midnight sky,
Let your luminous life of heaven
Better our hearts and make us fly.
Star of happiness, star of wonder
You see everything from afar,
Cast your eye upon the future
Make us wiser than we are.
Star of gentleness, hear our plea,
Whisper your wisdom tenderly.
Star of Bethlehem set us free
Make us a world we long to see."
Everyone clapped as Ilea stepped down from the stage, blushing. "That was amazing!" said a little brown haired girl. "Thank you Beth... Now its your turn Link!" Ilea told him. He shook his head. "I don't sing" Collin laughed. "Of course you do! I hear you sing while you work all the..." Link covers his mouth. "Come on Link.... please, for me?" asked Ilea, flashinh him a bright smile. He finally caved. "Fine.... Fine..." he stepped onto the makeshift stage, grumbling to himself, and started to sing in a beautiful voice that almost out did Ilea."Oh, little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lieAbove thy deep and dreamless sleepThe silent stars go byYet in thy dark streets shineThe everlasting light
The hopes and fears of all the yearsAre met in thee tonightFor Christ is born of MaryAnd gathered all aboveWhile mortals sleep the angelsKeep their watch of wondering love
Oh, morning stars togetherProclaim thy holy birthAnd praises sing to God the kingAnd peace to men on earth
Oh little town of BethlehemHow still we see thee lieAbove thy deep and dreamless sleepThe silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineThe everlasting lightThe hopes and fears of all the yearsAre met in thee tonight"
Even the heroes themselves clapped as he stepped down from the stage. "Didn't know you could sing like that Ranch Hand" said Warriors, punching him in the shoulder. Twilight rolled his eyes as they watched Link step down from the stage and walks back down towards the others. "Where are the others?" asked Link as he approached Ilea. "Um... I'm not...""Malo! Talo! Now!" Three children were dangling from the rafters, and the shortest one was holding some mistletoe above the two. "Link!" called Beth, from above them. She was sitting in the rafters, looking down on them. "Kiss her Link!" Collin called. Link and Ilea both went red. "Well I suppose it is tradition...." said Ilea. "And we wouldn't want to break tradition, would we?" asked Link, smiling. They kissed each other, twice, and them pulled apart. "Well that got heated" said the shortest one, as all four fell from the rafters.
The two stepped away as the children hit the ground, one after another. "Ow.... That hurt...." Malo complained. "It was worth it" said Beth, jumping to her feet and smiling.
