Scary Stories - Part 2

They all looked at Warriors. "How is that possible?" asked Twilight, confused. "I don't know... but I can't tell if your lying or..." Twilight moved his tunic aside and showed his shoulder. It was one big bruise, they now realized, and below it was what looked like a stab wound. "Alright... Alright... I believe ya' but I know what I saw..." said the slightly younger hero. "It was before I even joined the army, I was young, very young. My sister, Linkle and I, had gone camping by ourselves for the first time, and it was cold. Like tonight. So we were huddled up near the fire, that's when we heard a noise. Looking around, we assumed it was an animal, and turned back to the fire" He paused. "Later that night, we heard another sound. This one sounded like long nails scratching on woods, and it echoed through the woods

"Soon after we had supposedly gone to sleep, I was still awake, looking at the ceiling of the tent. I couldn't get the sound out of my head. That's when I said it... There was a figure outside of our tent. A humanoid figure, that was holding a knife. I froze in terror, squeezing my eyes shut and hoping that I was seeing things. But unfortunately, I wasn't seeing things. I heard the tent rip under the knife, and kept my eyes partly open as I watched him. Through the lantern light, I could see his face. It was covered in stitches, some of them bleeding and cut open. Like his brother, he had a smile cut into his face.... But the rest of it.... Looked more like Dr. Frankenstein's Monster than anything else. He was wearing a striped scarf, and a green sweatshirt, both splattered with blood

"I looked up at him, stepping between him and my sister. He looked at me, confused. 'Who are you?' he asked me. I didn't answer him at first, but he raised his knife, and I chickened out. 'Link, my names Link Nintendo' I answered. 'And that's your little sister Link?' he asked. He sounded almost... human as he said that. I nodded slowly, and he looked at her at he put his knife in his pocket. 'Stay away from us' He laughed softly. 'It's times like these that I realize how much more human I am then Jeff....' He stepped out of the tent, and motioned for me to follow. Scared, I did, and he sat beside the suddenly roaring fire. 'Link... you say? I used to have a friend named that... Maybe I won't kill you... or your sister"

Twilight didn't look like he believed him, but Warriors didn't seem to be lying at all. "I sat down across the fire from him, and he reached out towards it, pulling back when he realized it was hot. 'Why are you here?' I asked. He shrugged. 'I haven't felt this human in a long time... I wonder if Jeff ever feels like this' He shrugged again, and brought the knife out, putting the blade in the fire ad burning some of the dried blood off. Despite myself, I asked. 'Who's Jeff?' he looked up at me, and sighed. 'My own brother, Jeff the Killer' Then, without any warning, he stood up, and I did the same

"He threw himself at me, stabbing me in stomach several times before letting me go... 'You'll betray her, and then, I'll come to finish you off' he hissed, and then ran back into the woods, leaving me there. I slowly but surely drifted out of consciousness"

Winds mouth fell open as the story ended. "You knew Homicidal Liu... THAT'S SO COOL!" he cried, grinning now. The others gave him a "Are you crazy?" look, which he ignored. "And I have the scars to prove it as well" he touched his stomach and flinched. "And now I just have to wonder.... which one of us knew him before he was a mad man" he looked around. Sky cleared his throat. "Goddesses" said the first hero. "If I'd known they would turn into murders, I would have thrown them off that cliff when I had the chance" They all looked at him. "What?" asked Time, looking at him. Sky raised an eyebrow. "Well.... you tell the stories of murders.... But when I knew them, they were just Liu and Jefferey Woods...."
