Y/N'S POV:

"Do we really need to go in that party? Can we just stay here?" I asked my girlfriend who looks annoyed

"Baby, can you just be an obedient girlfriend for ones and agree on what I say?" Jennie said making me pout

"But I want to spend my night with you my one and only ever gorgeous love. I don't want to share you to the rest of the world tonight" I said dramatically making her giggle while doing her make up.

"Babe, stop playing around, not right now! You flattering me won't work, I am too busy doing my make up so sush"

"You know there are things that you can get busy of" I said wiggling my eyebrows making her laugh and shook her head.

"Oh come on! I want some cuddles right now and I want to finish Grey's anatomy season 17!" I whined making her look at me in disbelief

"We will continue to watch and cuddle later after the party. Let's just go there because this is not just an ordinary party it's a YG Christmas Party and as a part of the company we need to be there"

"But it sucks to be there especially for me!" I said

"Why?" She stops doing her make up and looked at me

"Because I don't understand what they are talking about? Sometimes it feels awkward because they laugh on something and I just stay there in silence. Your friends are the only ones who talks to me, most people are afraid to talk to me because they will speak to me in English. Which really sucks for them and for me, babe" I said and slouch my shoulders

"But baby you do know that they adore you because you chose YG to be part of your next album which might I add is gonna be a big hit again! Please understand baby, that they are not used to be with an American popstar like you" She said while walking at me and hugs me making me chuckle.

You see, like Jennie, I am a singer also but I don't belong in a band, I'm in solo. I am based in LA and been staying in Seoul for three months now because I am working on an album in partnership with a Korean company which is YG. People say that I'm like the girl version of Harry Styles because of my dimples, charming looks and sexy voice that attracts a lot of people but my music is a mix of Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber it is a little bit of pop but has a lot a soul and heart in it.

Me and Jennie met last 2019 at Coachella. I was also performing at that time and so as them. I've watched their concert and told her and the others that I am a massive Blackpink fan or what they call Blink. After that we hit it off and hang out a couple of times of course together with the others, we all became friends. But everything changes during fashion week in Paris wherein I saw her in Chanel fashion show, I invited her for dinner and after that one single night out it came to my conclusions that I do like her. She wears this gummy sweet smile that will make you also smile and those pretty brown cat eyes that will make you fall in love. After a couple of hang outs in Paris together with her Mom, I confessed my love to her and she accepts it. We dated for a couple of months until we became official. Our love story is a whirlwind for the first six months because a lot of people doesn't want our love to happen up until now but some people changes their mind as soon as they saw my sincere intentions to Jennie. Her family, friends and both of our companies supports us and some fans accept our relationship but not all of them and it's okay.

"Baby, you okay?" Jennie asked pulling away from the hug and looked at me

"Yeah I'm good, just thinking, But do we really need to go there? Can we just send our gifts to them?" I asked again making Jennie roll her eyes.
