Y/N'S POV:

Today is the day that we will bring the Princess back to her home. I have to admit that I feel sad that our adventure will end this soon. I thought I will be spending three more days with the Princess but sadly it's not going to happen anymore. But I'm still happy because there will be no more walking and we will be able to ride Yang in going to the kingdom.

I woke up early and see if the trap that we set yesterday has caught an animal and to my dismay there is nothing. So I searched for a bird's egg and fruits instead luckily I found two birds nest and found eight eggs. I boiled the egg together with the vegetables and mushrooms. Then, one by one each of them woke up.

"Good morning!" I said to them

"Good morning" Max and Yang said in unison while Jennie smiled back at me.

As she seats in the log I noticed that she is still limping while walking earlier so I went to her side and inspect her foot.

"Does it still hurt?" I asked looking looking closer at her foot

"Yeah! A little but it's manageable" she said but I can sense some sadness in her voice she maybe hiding the pain. So I lift my head and seat beside her to tell her the good news.

"Well, no worries Princess because we will no longer be walking. Yang said that his wings are all healed up so we can ride him and be in the castle in no time" I smiled widely to hide my sadness.

"Oh! Really?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows as if looking for an answer in my eyes.

"Y-yes! Isn't it great!" I lowered my head to look at her foot.

"B-but I'm fine with the long walk. What if Yang or Max is not yet really ready to fly? What if we damage their wings more?" She said making me glance at her and look into her eyes as if begging for me to agree.

"No worries Princess, I'm all good. No need to worry about me" Yang said assuring us.

"Uhmmm... Yang I think the Princess is right! I think you need to rest your wings for a while we don't want you damaging your wings more. I can carry the Princess for a while until her foot heals" I said, still staring at the Princess who smiled at me making me blush.

"B-bu-but! I ca-" Yang was about to say something until I saw Max nudge Yang's side and they both nodded. "Alright then, maybe my wings and Max's wings are still not healed fully. Thank you for the concerns princess" Yang added.

After eating and packing our things, I lifted the Princess piggyback style and continued our journey to the castle. The Princess puts her face on my neck making me tickle at first and smile after.

"Am I heavy?" Jennie asked

"Yeah! You've gain weight since the first time I carried you" I said making her hit my shoulder "maybe you should eat less meat and more on greens"she hits me again making me laugh after.

"I didn't gain weight! You're just too weak to carry me" she said nonchalantly "I thought you are strong!"she added again sounding mad, she removes her hold to my neck and wiggle herself from me but I held her tighter "if I'm that heavy let Max or Yang carry me!" She said and when I glanced at her I can see her pout making me giggle.
