The Tiger of Happiness (Taiga Aisaka x Male Reader)

Chapter 7

Before anyone realized, it was Friday. Rumors had already spread about the two. Many recounted their testimonies regarding the fight that had taken place during gym class, but then a new rumor emerged out of nowhere.

Minori Kushieda walked into classroom 2-C expecting a regular Friday; what she got, however, was far from it. Her classmates, mainly Haruta and Nanako, were talking about how Taiga and Y/N were seen cuddled up together.

"It's true. Last night, I saw them hanging out on the basketball court after school."

"Guess they had made up after that fight the other day." Nanako said.

"Or made out."

"Shut up, Haruta!" Everyone exclaimed.

Is there merit to what he said? It would make sense if Y/N was trying to get together with Taiga, but he specifically said that's not what happened. Oh, there's Takasu; I should probably get his take on this.

"Morning, Takasu."

"Oh, hey Kushieda."

"Did you hear the news?"

"Is this about Aisaka and L/N? Yeah, I doubt it's what it sounds like."

"You think so?"

"I'm not one-hundred percent certain of anything anymore, but I can't really see them being an item. Weren't they just fighting the other day?"

"Yeah, but everybody fights every now and then."

"Huh. Sounds like you want them to get together." He said, taking a seat next to her.

"You don't think they'll be a good match?"

"I didn't say that."

"How about we get to the bottom of this?"

"Right now? I don't even know where they are."

"Yeah; right now." She said, grabbing his arm.

. . .

Huh? That's odd.

No sign of either Kihara or Kashi. Sighing, Y/N walked over to Taiga's larger building and waited for her. Not too long after, they were both on the way to OHS.

"Awfully quiet this morning, huh?"

"Yeah, I had a feeling something was off." Taiga said, walking past the gate.

"No crowd either."

"At least it's Friday; let's just get today over with." Taiga said, as they walked into the classroom.

As Y/N walked in, he saw his classmates staring back at him. Kihara let out a low, dreamy sigh as he looked at Taiga for translation. Before she could say anything another voice came from behind her.

"Y/N, Taiga, can we talk for a minute?"

The two followed Minori all the way upstairs and then to the roof.

The platform was often used by students during lunch breaks and romantic rendezvous.

"Alright, what's going on, Kushieda?"

"Yeah, everyone is acting kinda funny."

Instead of talking to them, she fell to her knees.

"What is she...?"

"I've learned not to question it."

"Y/N, promise me that you won't hurt Taiga. She's very important to me, and if you break her heart, I'll kill you."
