Tae's pov~

Another busy day at work. I groaned as I watched the clock moving slowly. It seemed like it had been hours and only thirty minutes had passed.

All I wanted was to go home so I could see y/n. With work I hadn't saw her at all the past couple days and it sucked.

I'd work then come home and go straight to bed. Besides the days I worked from home, then I'd wake up, work, and then go to sleep.

I was off tomorrow though so I was definitely very excited to spend some time with y/n. I wanted to take her out on another date, somewhere special.

I was thinking of taking her to a place we use to go a lot as kids. I figured that would be romantic and sweet.

I'm sure she'd be happy no matter what we did but I thought if there was a special meaning behind it she would love it even more.

"You almost out of here?" My co worker Bre asked as she leaned over from her desk to look at me.

"Yup. You?" She responded with a quick and upset, "Nope."

I laughed. "I'm sure it'll go by fast." I say as I finish up what I'm doing then stand up, excited to get out of here.

"You have a date tonight with your new girlfriend right?" Bre asks.

"Mhm." I hum as I gather up my things. "I hope it goes well. Give me the details tomorrow?" She winks.

I laugh and nod. Bre was cool. I had worked with her for years and she knew all about y/n. After all, I talked about her all the time at work.

I loved getting advice from Bre since her and her girlfriend had been together for years. I figured who better to ask then someone who knows girls way better then I did.

It was a win win.

"Have fun!" Bre calls out behind me as I make my way to the door. "I will!" I call back, grinning to myself.

I wake my way over to my car and once I'm inside I pull out my phone to text y/n.

You busy?

Nope, what's up?

I want to take you on a date tonight (: Can I pick you up around 7?

Yes of course ❤️

I smile to myself as I slip my phone into my pocket and head home to get ready.

It was currently five o'clock so I had some time before I had to head over to pick her up. That gave me time to shower and change.

I was looking forward to this date. Although y/n and I hadn't been going out all that long we'd been friends for years.

She has stuck by me through thick and thin and I would forever be grateful for that.

My feelings for her were so strong already and although that scared me, I never felt more alive.

With y/n, I feel free. I feel happier then I ever have in my whole life and I wouldn't change that for the world.

Once seven o'clock rolled around I headed to y/n's, more then excited for our date.

As I got to her house my jaw hit the floor as she appeared in her doorway. She was absolutely breathtaking.

I watched as she walked over to the car in which I quickly hopped out to get her door for her.

"You look beautiful." I say right away, still in awe at how gorgeous she looked.

"Thank you. You look nice too." She smiles as she leans forward and pecks my lips.

"Thank you." I couldn't stop smiling like an idiot. I couldn't help it, I was just so damn happy.

"Shall we?" I say and she nods as she gets into the car. I close the door behind her then make my way to the front seat. Then we're off to our destination.

Once we arrive I look over at y/n to see her face light up once she realizes where we are.

"Tae...I love this." She says immediately, her voice shaking as if she may start crying at any given moment.

There in front of us is a large mountain. The same mountain we use to come to all the time as kids and watch the stars.

Y/n always use to talk about how much she loved it here. We'd stay for hours because she didn't want to leave.

"Come on, I have stuff for a little picnic too." I smile. She looks over at me with teary eyes.

"Thank you." She says and I flash her a warm smile. "Of course."

We make our way up to the top then we begin to lay out the blanket and all of our foods.

As we eat we talk.

"We haven't been here in so long yet it still feels like just yesterday me and you were laying up here looking at the stars." Y/n says, her eyes twinkling in the moonlight.

"I knew you'd love it. I wanted to go somewhere special, somewhere that had a lot of meaning to us." I say.

"Well I'm glad we did. I love this." Y/n says happily. I could tell she genuinely loved this. I was glad.

"I'm glad you're happy." I say. Right now my heart felt so full.

After we ate we laid down to look at the stars together. Y/n laid with her head on my chest as we stared up at the sky in awe.

The dark blue sky was littered with hundreds of twinkling stars. The view was absolutely beautiful.

I glanced down at the top of y/n's head and smiled. This view was absolutely beautiful as well, maybe even a little more.

This moment was perfect. For the first time in so long, I felt complete. I felt like nothing in the world could bring me down. I had everything I needed right here with me.

My heart felt full.

"Y/n..." I start, every single emotion over coming me.

"Hmm?" She hums as she stares up at me with her big e/c eyes that sparkled.

I said the only thing on my mind in that moment.

"I love you."
