32 / Epilogue

Y/n stared at me, eyes wide.

I was starting to get nervous when she didn't respond.

"I'm sorry. I know it's still so soon but I can't help how I feel." I say, instantly regretting having said what was on my mind without thinking first.

Y/n then smiled.

"Huh?" I ask, confused.

"It's not too soon, not with us. I love you too Tae. I've been in love you with for much longer then you'd think."

Y/n's words shocked me. I wasn't expecting them but of course, they made me happy.

"Really?" I was in disbelief. Y/n smiled as she leaned over and pecked my lips.

"Absolutely."

I wrapped my arms around her tightly as I hugged her, not wanting to let go.

I was so happy. Never had I imagined this moment would happen and yet now it was the best moment of my life.

"Stay with me tonight?" I ask into y/n's hair as she hugs me back, neither of us moving back.

"Of course." She says as she pulls back ever so slightly so that she can kiss me.

My fingers tangle into her hair as I kiss her back with passion. Her lips were so soft I couldn't seem to get enough. I could kiss her all day long.

"I love you." Y/n says for a slight moment as she breaks apart from me. I opened my eyes to see her looking back into them.

"I love you." The words felt so nice rolling off of my tongue. I had never felt this way before about someone, not even Nari.

This was love.

I hadn't known true love until Y/n. With Nari I feel it was more of a one sided thing and maybe at first it was love, but definitely not like this.

Y/n showed me what real love feels like and I couldn't be happier. After everything I deserved to be happy and I'm glad with y/n, I am.

I'm finally free.

EPILOGUE •••

"Babe?!" Y/n's voice rings through the house as she runs towards Taehyung. Her h/c hair bounced as she hopped up to him.

"What's up?" Taehyung asked, smiling instantly upon seeing his beautiful girlfriend

"Are you ready to go to Nel and Yoongi's wedding?" Y/n asked as she smiled from ear to ear.

Today was finally the day of Yoongi and his fiancés wedding and both were super excited. Y/n on the other hand seemed to be happier then everyone combined.

"I love love." Y/n beams as she throws her arms around Tae. "It'll be us pretty soon." He grins as he hugs y/n back, thinking back on the day he asked y/n to marry him.

It was on their three year anniversary as they were back home visiting their childhood home. That day was one of the happiest moments of both of their lives.

"I know. I can't wait." Y/n says as she pecks Tae's lips and admires the ring on her finger.

It was absolutely beautiful and she was super happy. Hell, she would have been happy receiving a ring pop. Y/n didn't care as long as she was with Tae. Nothing else mattered.

"We should get going." Tae says as he heads for the door. With that, they head to the chapel.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. Now everyone was at the reception having a great time.

"Hey guys!" Nel smiles from ear to ear as she approaches the table with all of Yoongi's friends.

"Hey beautiful bride!" Jimin says excitedly. "How does it feel?" He then asks.

"It feels great. I'm so happy!" Her words were genuine. She was super excited to now be married to the love of her life.

"You look amazing." Y/n smiles as she takes in Nel's beautiful dress. She looked absolutely breathtaking.

"Thank you." Nel smiled as she clapped her hands together.

"Now, come join us on the dance floor." She grins and everyone is quick to stand and follow her out to the floor.

Y/n let out a squeak as Taehyung twirled her into his arms, not wasting a single minute of dancing with the love of his life.

"You're so beautiful." Taehyung smiled as he rocked back and forth, staring into y/n's eyes.

"Thank you." She smiles back, her heart happy. "Of course. I can't wait to marry you. I love you so much."

Tae's words made y/n unable to stop smiling.

Right now, everything was absolutely perfect. Life was amazing and both Tae and Y/n were the happiest they had ever been.

The love they shared was so beautiful and nothing could tear them apart.

After everything with Nari, Taehyung never thought he'd find love again. Tae never imagined he'd be able to move on, to be happy.

That all changed when y/n told him how she felt. After that day, his heart started to feel full again. Now he was going to spend the rest of his life with her and he didn't want it any other way.

Taehyung is finally free.

Y/n saved him and he saved her.

A/n: Ugh. I'm sorry the ending is so rushed but the writers block I have for this story got so bad I couldn't go anywhere else with the story. I felt if I kept dragging it out it would just make the story bad. So I apologize for the rushed ending, I hope you guys didn't hate it too much😂😓
Side note: I think I'm getting sick and I'm hoping and praying it isn't Covid. I have a runny/stuffy nose and a slight cough. Ugh I'm hoping it's not serious and it's just a cold 😭😭
