Jessica groaned, her head in her arms and her knees drawn up to her chest. She sat there for a moment, groaning and grumbling, before flopping backwards onto her bed, hugging a pillow tightly and burying her face into it.

Out of all the...

She gripped the pillow tighter, her face heating up.

She couldn't believe it. Out of all the people she had met.
She was attracted to... Gaster..?
She moaned, rolling over onto her side and throwing the pillow at the wall.

Why, why, why? She had found herself both wanting to spend more time with the skeleton and also not wanting to come into contact with him in fear of humiliating herself. She had completely blown it at the end of their conversation earlier. She prayed he had bought her excuse of needing to help Toriel with some cooking.

She thought of when he had winked at her, thanked her, smiled at her,
and oh.. When he had slinked his arm around her waist... She found herself craving that touch more than ever.. She wanted his arms around her more...

She recoiled and cringed at her own thoughts.

What the fuck... UGH! I can't believe I'm thinking this kind of stuff... It's so... strange.

There was no denying it. She was head over heels for that stupid bonehead.

She needed a distraction. Something to take her mind off it.

Maybe she would help Toriel with cooking, after all.

Gaster frowned, staring miserably at the stone ceiling above him. He was incredibly bored, and since Jessica had left, he had nothing to do, and no one to converse with, so he decided the best thing to do was to sleep it off. As he closed his eyes, he couldn't help but think about what had happened earlier, and smiled slightly at the memory. Jessica's concern for him was amusing. Cute, even. He felt himself warm up a little at his thoughts, but swiftly brushed it off.

In a friendly way, of course. He thought, just to convince himself fully.

As he attempted to drift off to sleep, he suddenly became aware of how tight the casts were on his arms, and once he had realised it, the feeling didn't go away. He groaned in discomfort before sitting up and glowering. He needed to get these stupid casts off his arms before he went insane. He wasn't sure if he had recovered enough to use magic, but to his surprise, he managed to summon one of his hands relatively easily.

This is a horrible idea.

Luckily, his casts weren't too difficult to break, as they had only been on him for a day or two.

When he had successfully freed his arms, he stretched them out wide, though he was careful as to not damage them again. He couldn't help but smile at the relief of removing the restraints.
He bent his arm slowly, sending tingles through the limb and into his shoulder, making him shudder slightly. A dull pain throbbed lowly in his arms, but it was nothing he couldn't handle.

Well now his arms were free, but he probably would have to wait to get back onto his feet and back to his work. He shrugged to himself. At least his arms were free.
