I decided to go and polish Arthur's armour instead of lying in bed, not being able to sleep. I left a note for Gaius and Esmeralda, so they didn't worry about me being missing and left. The next morning, I found myself lying in the armoury. I must've fallen asleep there. My head was leaning against the wall, and a pair of eyes were staring at me intently. "Gwaine!" I yelled, sitting up abruptly.

"Finally, Merlin! I was about to wake you up myself," exclaimed Gwaine.

"Next time, please don't put your face up close to mine," I told him.

"Sorry," he apologised, "anyway, I came to tell you that Arthur is looking for you...Why were you sleeping in the armoury?" I rolled my eyes, obviously, Gwaine would ask that question.

"I was polishing the armour, and I fell asleep," I replied. I stretched and groaned as I stood up. Note to self: Don't sleep in the armoury again.

"Merlin, will you get me a tankard of mead?" Gwaine requested, smirking, "if you do, I'll tell you who else wants to see you."

"If you tell me now, I'll get you as many as you want," I said, knowing it was going to work because Gwaine looked up eagerly.

"Lancelot asked for you," he revealed, "I want three tankards in my room." My eyes glowed gold and I nodded to Gwaine. He grinned widely and patted my shoulder. "You are my favourite warlock in the whole world!"

"I'm the only warlock that you know personally!" I called back to him as he left. Gwaine shrugged and walked away. As annoying as he was, you couldn't help liking that knight, but little did he know, he won't be meeting mead in his chambers instead, he will meet three dirty snouts that belong to the tavern's pigs. I made the armour that I was supposed to clean, polish itself. Then I made it float over my head, so I didn't have to carry it all the way to Arthurs chambers. On the way there, I came across Lancelot and Esmeralda. Ezy had her head laid across Lance's chest and her eyes were red and puffy. She must've been crying, and I knew the reason. I remembered Lance wanted to talk to me so, I asked him why.

"Esmeralda told me about your brother," announced Lance.

"Do you think he's dead?" I inquired.

"It doesn't sound like it," he replied.

"I'm sorry, guys, I have to go. I'm late for Arthur," I said apologetically.

"Of course," then Lance added, "Merlin, you know I'm always here if you need me.

I gave him a small smile, "I know." I start down the hallways again, with the armour floating above me.

"You know, you look very creepy with your eyes glowing, Merlin." A voice spoke behind me. I turned around to see Elyan and Percival.

"Hey, guys," I greeted them.

"Goldeyes look natural on Merlin, don't you think?" Percival asked.

"Sorry, I can't talk. Need to get to Arthur," I stated and ran up some stairs leaving an amused Percival and Elyan behind. On the stairs, I saw Mordred, who beamed at the sight of me using magic for Arthurs chores. When he had found out that I told everyone about my magic and was allowed to stay in Camelot, he was overjoyed. Mordred's dream of being free was slowly coming true, thanks to me, and nothing could make him happier. Every time I passed him, he was always smiling. I wonder how that boy's cheeks stay like that. I returned Mordred's smile and was almost at Arthurs chambers when I walked into Leon.

"Merlin! There you are, we've been looking everywhere for you," he informed.

"Sorry, Leon."

"Quickly go to Arthur," he implored, "he's getting impatient." I nodded in response. When I stepped into Arthur's chambers, I was greeted by a furious king.
