It didn't take very long for Sebastian and Lilith to find suspects and interview them, clearing out people who were confirmed to be at certain places at the time of the murders. Luckily it wasn't difficult, mostly because the two kept away from the other as much as they possibly could.

"This would honestly be so much easier if the young master hadn't sent me out with you." Sebastian said as they were on their way back to the manor. "It wouldn't have taken this long."

"Oh please, save your breath." Lilith says, walking ahead. "It would have taken you longer since you are so damn slow."

"Slow? Now what in the nine hells are you talking about?"

"You know damn well what I'm talking about. This whole thing would have been harder for you if you didn't have me here. It took you forever to come and find me after the fall of Rome during Nero's rule."

"I was caught up with something at the time."

"Sure you were, Sebastian."

The two arrived at the Manor once again, Lilith arriving first. Her face was smug as he came up from behind her, as he had proved her point himself. It just made him even more annoyed with her, and even then her smile widened at his annoyance. It had been so long since she was able to get under his skin like this, it made her feel better about the situation at hand.

They entered the manor, once again surprised at the fact that the manor was still intact at the very least, let alone that it was almost silent save for the talk that went on behind the closed door of the office. It honestly shocked them that their masters were up at such a late time, but then they remembered that their masters couldn't get dressed for bed without their help.

Sebastian knocked on the door, hearing a quiet voice allowing them to enter. Valeria sat on a chair away from the desk where Ciel was sitting. It didn't take very long before they noticed the two demons standing in the doorway, arms crossed and holding a list of suspects.

"Finally, you've come back. Do you have a list of suspects?" Ciel asks, slightly annoyed. "And what took you so long?"

"We would have been faster if Sebastian wasn't so slow." Lilith said, matching Ciel's annoyance. It made Valeria giggle, while Lilith laughed at Sebastian's annoyed face.

"Yes my lord, we have created a list of suspects. Some of them are more plausible than others, however they all have the same traits, at the least." Sebastian handed Ciel the list, allowing him to read it.

"It seems that the most likely suspect is Lord Tyber, an Irish merchant who moved to London not too long ago. He fits the criteria, as well as the fact that he does not have an alibi. During the time of the murder, he was apparently not at his house, nor at any of the parties going on that night." Lilith explained, handing him a small file on Lord Tyber.

"It appeared he was out, but at the time there was no reason to be out, unless you were interested in prostitutes. All other shops are closed at that time, and usually by that time most clubs and brothels are closed as well. He has not been known as an adulterer, and has actually been known helping people around that general area."

"Perhaps he was helping them to gain their trust." Ciel muttered, placing the file back down on the desk.

"Perhaps he was. In other news, Lord Tyber is hosting a party tomorrow, an open party. We should attend and see what we can find at his home." Sebastian moved behind Ciel, looking Valeria in the eyes. For a second she could see some trickery, before his eyes flickered to Lilith and she saw it change into annoyance.

"Then I'm afraid we must go then."

(So, it's been a while. Sorry about my lack of writing lately, school and life have been kicking my ass again, but luckily it is the end of the school year for me so that means I can actually write now instead of being tired all the damn time. I'll try to keep this updated, but I have other books too so no promises here.

Anyways, au revoir!)
