(Hello again! Sorry I haven't been updating for a while, my motivation completely sank and I couldn't come up with anything for a while. But oh well, shit happens. Anyways, enjoy.)

Valeria smiled at the sound of Lilith's voice, crawling out from beneath the desk with Ciel following behind her. She stood up, her dress slightly wrinkled from crouching on the ground for so long.

The two demons were standing over the unconscious body of the maid that had come into the room, Sebastian soon moving her to prop her against the wall of bookcases.

"Have you found anything, my lady?" Lilith asked. She walked towards her master, looking at the paper in Valeria's hand.

"Yes. We found the list of victims, as well as others he's planning on getting to next." Valeria walked past her, towards where Ciel and Sebastian were standing.

She showed them the yellowed paper, handing it to Ciel to keep in his pocket. To be honest, that was what she hated most about fancy dresses. There were no pockets to keep things in, like a list of murder victims! To her, it was truly ridiculous.

"We have what we need. We need to leave now, before we get caught in here." Ciel was quick to head for the door, opening it and heading into the hallway.

The four of them rushed to the ballroom, watching as the couples danced where Sebastian and Lilith were dancing not too long ago. They weaved their way through the crowds, heading towards where the other servants were standing. Finny and Adelia were whispering to each other, worry set on Adelia's face. The moment she turned and spotted Valeria, she sighed with relief.

"Valeria! Thank goodness your safe. I was so worried that something had happened when you didn't come back after a while." Adelia's relieved smile quickly faded when she noticed the grim looks on their faces. "What happened, my lady?"

"We can't talk about it here, Adelia." Valeria whispered. "We can talk about it when we get back to the manor."

"Well well, look what we have here."

Everyone turned to see Lord Tyber standing behind them, a smile on his face. It creeped Ciel and Valeria out, especially after finding what they did. Knowing now that this man was guilty of pre-meditated murder really ruined the mood of the party.

"Lord Tyber, so nice to see you." Sebastian said, pulling Lilith closer to his side by her waist.

"It's nice to see you as well, sir. I couldn't help coming back after that amazing display you put on with your wife earlier. I just wanted to say thank you for putting on that performance and entertaining the guest." Lord Tyber kept that strange smile on his face as he spoke, looking Sebastian in the eye.

Lilith turned behind her, giving a quick nod for them to leave before things get messy. Valeria and Adelia nodded before dragging the boys away towards the door, waving for the carriage. Lilith turned back to Lord Tyber, leaning her head against Sebastian's shoulder to her chagrin. She listened to their conversation with interest.

"However, sir, there is one thing I have not seen from you." Sebastian looked surprised at his comment, wondering if he had caught them in his study.

"And what would that be, Lord Tyber?" He said.

"I have not see you kiss your darling, it seems. All of the other married couples here are quick to begin their public displays, but I have not seen any from you. Is there a reason?"

"Ah, there is not. We just prefer to save all of that for private times with one another, instead of showing one another off."

"Really now? That is a rather interesting way to go about things, but aren't you worried about others trying to steal your wife? After all, if they don't see it, they might think that she is unmarried."

Sebastian wanted to cringe at his words. He was basically asking for them to kiss or something similar, to prove that she was really his wife. Even so, it was all a façade, but it was crucial they keep it up, lest a scandal start.

"Well, perhaps you may see it at some point." Sebastian turned him and Lilith away from Lord Tyber, before doing something he never thought he would do in all his years of living.

Sebastian grabbed Lilith's chin, tilting her chin up to face him. He moved to kiss her, quick enough that she couldn't pull away. The entire time he ensured that Lord Tyber was watching, soon continuing.

Her lips were surprisingly warm and soft, and for a moment he thought about keeping her like this for a while, just to show others that they couldn't have what he did.

He hated to admit it, but he was jealous of the people constantly staring at her like she was a prize to be won. He was jealous of them.

Sebastian pulled away from her soft lips, looking back at Tyber with a smirk. Tyber quickly turned away, heading to another group to speak with them. Sebastian looked down at Lilith, who was looking down at the ground.

"We never speak of this again. Agreed?" she muttered.

"Agreed." Sebastian was quick to grab her hand and rush out to the carriages outside, entering and sitting next to their masters.

Lilith could still see the jealousy in Sebastian's eyes, even after they arrived at the manor once again.
