The carriage pulls up to the front of the manor, making a slow stop. Lilith gets up from her seat, moving to open the door for the others. The gloomy look on Valeria's face didn't falter, her want to be somewhere else was stronger than ever. Adelia was more excited, wanting to meet the other people that work at the manor. Lilith felt indifferent, but the dread of having to meet with her past friend brought rage that she hadn't felt for a very long time.
Lilith opens the door, stepping out of the carriage and holding the door open. Valeria and Adelia stand up, Valeria walking out first, holding up her red dress, with Adelia following her. Lilith closes the door behind them, the carriage speeding off.
The manor was large, the building old and looking as beautiful as when it was built. It was obviously very well taken care of, the stone building's garden green and bright in the summer's light. Valeria and Adelia look on in awe, the beauty and neatness of the house impressing them.
The three of them walk towards the door of the manor, their dresses flowing behind them as the heels of their shoes click on the stone pathway. As they approach the door, the door opens to a black haired man wearing a butler's outfit.
"Welcome to the Phantomhive Manor. I am Lord Pantomive's butler, Sebastian. Please make yourselves at home." He says with a closed eyed smile. He steps out of the way, letting the three ladies enter.
"Was that the man you were talking about?" Valeria whispers to Lilith. Lilith frowns before nodding.
"Yes, that was him. It is quite unfortunate that I have to see him, I would rather him be far, far away from here." She said in a condescending tone.
'Why does she hate him so much? What happened between them?' Valeria thought. The tense air of the room was something everyone could feel, but no one dare spoke of it, afraid that one of the two causing the tense feeling would say something. Not like they would really care, though.
Off near the bottom of the staircase, the other 4 Phantomhive servants look on in curiosity. Who were these women, and why were they here? Sebastian hadn't said anything about guests, and he just told them to not mess anything up today. Was this the reason why?
"Who 're they?" Bard questions, looking on in curiosity. "I didn't think we would be getting any guests today, let alone three beautiful ladies."
"I didn't think the young master would invite anyone over today either! Why didn't they tell us?" Mey-rin whispers to Bard. They both turn to look at Finny, who was staring at the three of them, not paying much attention to the conversation going on next to him.
"Hey, Finny! Stop giving them googly eyes!" Bard hits him over the head slightly, the blond boy groaning in pain slightly.
"I-I'm sorry! I was just-" Bard cut him off. "It doesn't matter, the master's coming, so be quiet!"
Footsteps are heard coming down the stairs, the clicking of heels as recognizable as ever. Ciel stops on the banister of the staircase, looking down on the three women.
"My name is Ciel Phantomhive. I am the current lord of this house. I believe we have some business to discuss, Lady Valeria." He says. Valeria looks back at Lilith, who looks back before nodding.
"Yes, I believe we do. If we may begin soon, that would be excellent." Valeria says in a bored tone. Adelia looks at Valeria, quietly asking if she has to be there for the meeting.
"Adelia, you may leave. Go with the other servants if you would like." Adelia gives a small bow. "Yes, my lady." She walks away from the forum to the other parts of the manor.
Valeria looks back at the man standing in front of her. "Now then, if we could please get this started?"
"Of course."
