"I'm so sorry Lucas." Jungwoo rubbed the younger's back who's been crying over the brunette male's shoulder. 

"Why did he have to go?" Lucas sobbed louder which made Jungwoo's heart ache. 

They both just received the news that Lucas' uncle passed away 10 minutes ago, and since then Lucas just started crying but is grateful that the older was there for him. 

"You know that people come and go. It just so happened that it was your uncle."

"He talked to me yesterday, he asked me if I was doing well, and said that he'll recover by the next week. But why." Lucas buried his face at the crook of Jungwoo's neck, the latter's shirt is now wet with Lucas' tears but he didn't mind, as long as he calms the giant baby down.

"Maybe he didn't bother to try to make it cuz he thinks he fulfilled his purpose of letting you live your life to the fullest." Jungwoo paused to look at Lucas who's trying to quiet down and listen to the older's words. "Maybe, he's contented with how his life played out with your aunt and you in it." Jungwoo smiled and looked directly at Lucas' eyes. 

They stared at each other with soft loving stares, both wanting to do something that they think only they themselves feel not knowing that the other feels the same way. They started to get lost in each other's gaze for a good minute and feels the urge to do something risky. Something that may risk their friendship.

Jungwoo swallowed a big lump in his throat, fighting the urge to just slam his lips to the other's pouting pinkish ones. He sighed and caressed the younger's hair and just kissed the latter's forehead– which he has never done before.

Lucas was dumbfounded when the older just smiled and ruffled his hair before standing up and grabbing a cup of water. "Drink." Jungwoo ordered softly, supporting the cup for Lucas to slowly drink the cup empty. 

"Thank you." Lucas wiped the edge of his lips with the back of his hand and smiled at the older. 

"Anytime." Jungwoo showed the widest smile for the night which made Lucas' heart flutter while butterflies in his tummy start to do the same.
