Work hours had finally come to an end and I drop my helpless figure on the chilled comfort of my silk white sheets with a long-awaited sigh. The day had gone steady up until Sebastian arrived and straight after he left, customers flooded in. Normally Holly and I would be able to deal with the shop independently on our scheduled hours but between four and five, things were more than active.

We were moving back and forth with no in-between time while the hour felt like an eternity. I want no more than to remove all of my clothing and fall asleep right here but I agreed to free myself from the shackles of my everyday life and go out with Holly, I won't let a little exhaustion cancel my one night of partying like a teen again.

I run my fingers over my head, grabbing around the ponytail holder- keeping my hair in place.
The tension on my head diminishes as I pull the tie to my view. I notice an S on the hair tie and I can't help but fill a bit of joy fill my insides at the sight of Sebastian's initial. Where did this idea even come from?

I shake my head trying not to think deep into something unnecessary and stand to my feet, eyeing my closet. I haven't partied in so long, I don't even know if I still have any of the proper clothing. Instead of staring at the closed door for god knows how long, I make my way to the walk-in closet- straight to the back. I instantly find my comfortable yet sexy clothes and a knowing smile pushes against my cheeks.

after awhile of pampering and dressing to impress I head down the steps for a cup of water, making my way in the kitchen only to come in contact with Ash flipping something on the stove, smoke being sucked in through the vents. Luckily he had the window cracked or else we'd be gasping for air.

"Ash? What's going on?" I question walking close behind him as a delicious smell fills my nostrils. I let out a strong 'mhmm' and he chuckles at my reaction.

"I guess I'm doing a pretty good job huh" he smirks whisking the scrambled eggs in the pan.

"I mean breakfast has to be one of the easiest meals to make?" My words come out as a question when I spot pancakes, sausages, etc while he flips the eggs on two plates.

Breakfast for dinner?

"I've been talking to this girl for a while and she enjoys the idea of guys that can cook so I thought I'd learn. Starting with the basics... breakfast for dinner." He places two servings on the table with a big smile on his face causing me to shake my head at his dedication.

I thought to mention his flirtatious remarks towards Holly but I fight against it and just let him act as he pleases. I was going to turn down the food until I remembered it's best to have food on your stomach when you take in alcohol and I haven't eaten since around noon, "You know Mom's a pretty good cook. Why not get her to help?" I ask as I take in a few bites, feeling my stomach smile at the unexpected taste.

"By the way, this is good" I moan into my next bite.

"Yeah after an awful attempt" he mumbles under his breathe probably hoping I didn't hear. At least he's trying.

"How could I when she and dad are always at each other's heads?" He sighs pushing around his sausages and I frown. He's right, all they do is argue now and you can rarely catch them at a good time.

I look up at him with wide eyes and he cocks his head to the side, "dad has this work trip coming up I believe in like a month? Try her then. You'll probably have learned enough to comprehend her skills" he nods at my suggestion before checking the time on his phone.

"Shit I have to go, Becca, and I have a movie and dinner planned by 9. I won't make it back tonight so don't wait up" he jumps from his seat and grabs his jacket.
