"It's better like this; I can help," you said as you shifted into your dragon. Strange widens his eyes cause he saw you like this. Yes, he had known you for quite some time but never knew this. "How come I don't know about this?" He asked and stepped back a little as your form toon almost all the pace in the room.

You sighed and lowered your head as you were in eyesight with him. "Stephen, think. I'm a dragon. Don't you think people would've tried to kill me if they ever found out? I know I can trust you with this but.... *sigh* I can't risk setting anyone in danger." You stopped as your ears picked up the sound of webs shooting.

"Oh my sign, I gotta go." You said as you rushed outside. There was indeed spider man swinging thru the gates of New York. He wasn't far from you, so you decided to get his attention without scaring him. "Hey, spider!" You said, not loud but loud enough for him to hear. Spiderman immediately stopped swinging and landed on a lamppost and turned to you.

When he saw you, his eyes widened. You soon trotted towards him as you knew your wings would blow everything away. "Who ... are you?" He said as his eyes wandered over you. You smiled warmly, and you lowered your head to him. Yes, you were taller than a lamppost.

"I'm Ruby. But call... or nvm call me Ruby" you almost said your real name, but you couldn't let go of your identity now, not when so much was at stake. "Oh... Okay. I'm spider man, but what are you doing in dr. Strange nanorod?" You chuckled at his expression. "I'm a friend of his. An old friend." Peter nodded. Soon you two were in deep conversation about different things.

But you didn't let anything about your identity slip as you knew this boy was smart and could find out your real name and things like that if he wanted. "So, what's the reason you're here?" He asked after a while of silence. You sighed and bowed your head as your words came out.

"I want to help you, Pete. You'll need it, trust me" then, when your words ended, a helicopter came, and the bugle started taking pics of you. Peter immediately panicked while you only closed your eyes. "Ruby! Come!" Spider called after you, but you didn't listen. You only turned to the helicopter and opened your eyes.

They were shining blue and one red. "Leave us," you said, your voice booming over the naiborhod, sending the helicopter onto another course. But you send a wind gush that saved them before they went crashing down into a building. You tired to Peter to see him have a surprised expression.

You chuckled and grabbed him by the neck with your teeth and threw him over your neck and onto your back right between the two of your most giant spikes. "Now, where we're you going?" You asked. "Uh to my aunt May, she's living—-"before he got to finish his sentence, you spread your wings and jumped in the air.

The young boy grabbed his soft hands onto your scales. "Shh Pete, no use to be scared, just hold onto tight," you assured him as your wings steadied in their beats, and you flew towards where his aunt lived. You didn't know why you knew the way, but it was in the back of your mind, and your inner compass steered you.

With a silent thud, you landed in front of peters home. He slid down your back with some difficulty, but he steadied himself quickly. "Thanks, Ruby," he said but was still a little confused about meeting a dragon. You smiled warmly at him and lowered your head. "It was a pleasure, Pete. Whenever you're in danger, I will come to your help. I can feel the danger you're in and come as fast as my wings will bear me." With those words, you pressed your nose against his stomach, making the young boy stiff with surprise.

"Y-yeah, that's good," you let out a deep chuckle that vibrates your whole body along with Peter. "Cya, young one," you said and lifted your head. Soon your figure started to disappear, and Peter was shocked to see you no more. But your words rang in his head. He let out a deep sigh and went inside his house.

"You're happy now, rub?" strange said as you walked inside his house. In your human form, you had long blonde curly hair, clear blue eyes, and pink lips. Your skin was a shade of red like native Americans and white. But you weren't of Native American kin; no, you were a shapeshifter, the last one.

"I am, Stephen. They'll all need us in time, trust me, old friend," you said as you walked past him and patted his shoulder in a Friday manner. You didn't know it, but it made the Mahican heartbeat double so fast.

You soon flopped down on the bed, dr. Strange had given you. He had been your friend thru your older years and was always there for you. Now it was your time to be there for him and his world. Your home was safe under the protection of your trusted people. Yes, in your land, you didn't have guards; not one could take care of themselves.

Of course, there were crimes and attempts to the throne, but none of the "criminals" got any chance to do it. They either got sat in erosion but under a whole question bunch to dig deep after what could have driven them to this. Your parents had died a few years back when you were just a kid. You had greeted as everyone would've done

But death is expected; there's nothing you could ever do to change that. Everyone is going to die someday. You took a deep breath and fell to sleep.
