"Dracy, wake up," echo crooned as he pressed his head against my nose. I snorted and grumbled tiredly. "What now, echo?" I groaned. I heard one of the other raptors snicker. 'Delta,' I thought. His snicker was enough to rake me thoroughly. I stood up abruptly, and poor echo yelped as I nearly trampled him.

"What was that?" I snapped, my head at his eyes level and my teeth-baring. I didn't know why my mood was so bad today. I mean, I had just woken up, and I wasn't a morning person. Delta gulped and lowered his head. I barely heard him as he whispered. "N-nothing," I snorted and turned away from him and lashed my spiky tail.

Blue looked at me as I walked towards the gate. I pressed my nose against the bars and listened as I heard the voices of people. I sighed and turned my head around to face echo and Charlie. Delta was still sitting on the ground with his head down. I felt a path of guilt and took a deep breath.

I walked towards him and nudged him gently. "I'm sorry that I snapped at you," I said flatly. Delta looked up at me with teary eyes. "It's okay. I shouldn't have taunted you." Delta said. I nuzzled him, and he purred. Soon enough, you felt another presence. Human. I lifted my head and saw a man with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.

I could swear I'd seen him before. He looked surprised to see me. Soon he snapped out of it and started talking to blue and his gang. "Come blue." They listened while I just stood there staring at them. "Come on; he's the alpha here." Charlie crooned as he pressed his flank against my wing.

I sighed before following him. I stopped just behind them. I even got towers over the man. (Btw you're just one year, so you're body isn't fully grown yet.). The man reached a hand towards me, and I looked at Blue. He stared back at me with a puzzled face. I sighed deeply before lowering my head so the man could touch me.

He smiled and rubbed my nose, making me purr. "I've never seen a dragon before. You're beautiful," he said and stepped away from me. I crooned and lifted my head again. He had food in a box, so I sniffed gently at the white thing to tell him that I was hungry. He chuckled and took out a chunk of meat and gave it to me.

The man I learned the name was alpha or Owen, as the humans call him. He had been very kind to me, but he tried to train me. Keyword: tried. I didn't want to be taught; I didn't need to. But Blue convinced me to let him try tomorrow or the next day he came. He said it would be better than the pack working together and shouldn't defy the leader.

Right now, I was chilling in the shadow while watching my friends run aorund. Charlie jumped on me, and I chuckled before rolling aorund my side so he could tackle me. My laughter sounded like a deep rumble, but what could I do? I was a builder like this. "Ey Charlie, Dracy," alpha called suddenly, and Charlie jumped off me. We walked side by side, me towering over the raptors along with alpha. I tilted my head at him, my eyes scanning him as if to see what he wanted. he only smiled and rubbed my chin and gave me a rat.

Not so much for a dragon, maybe, and also that I'm growing, but it's enough for now. I smiled a toothy smile as I had swallowed the rodent before titling my head again. I was asking if I could go back to sleep. Owen chuckled and nodded. I crooned softly and spread my wings, and jumped off to my sleeping place. Soon after, someone curled up beside me, which caught my attention. I sleepily opened one of my eyes and saw Blue's figure beside me. I rolled my eyes but smiled. he wanted to cuddle but hadn't the guts to ask me. How pathetic and cute.

I moved my head closer to him and purred softly before closing my eyes again and drifting off to sleep.

Short, I know, and I'm sorry for that.
