"So how'd it go when Meg met your parents, J dawg?" said Sam.

"Well..." Jeremy began.

Jeremy's parents lived in a pleasant mansion in Buckinghamshire.

They saw their son with Chad and Meg.

"Welcome home, my son" said his mother.

Chad walked up to Lady Clyde with a smile on his face.

"How are you happy about this?" said Meg.

"His mother likes me" said Chad.

"That's good" said Meg.

Lady Clyde saw Chad and said "And you too, sir. Oh, it's great to have a commoner in the house".

"Hello, Lady Clyde. This is my fiancee. Meg" said Chad.

"It's very nice to meet you, Lady Clyde" said Meg.

"Enchanted. Enchanted to meet you, dear" said Lady Clyde.

"Meg here knows a fair few bands, not including me and Chad" said Jeremy.

"Very good. Our family is very musical. Not including my husband. He prefers to be like his ancestor the Duke of Wellington" said Lady Clyde.

"I picked up on that from some things Chad said about him" said Meg.

"Come inside, you three. Tea's nearly ready" said Lady Clyde.

"Your mom seems nice" said Charles Wallace.

"She is. But I don't understand what my father has against commoners. Before he met my mother, she was a commoner too" said Jeremy.

"That is kinda messed up" said Sam.

"But did he change his mind for Meg?" said Anthony.

"Well, we thought he did" said Jeremy.

"So... you're a royal?" said Meg to Jeremy's father.

"Yes. I took my son to the queen's coronation." said Sir Thomas Clyde.

"Oh, yeah. He told me about that. That's really great" said Meg.

"Now. Jeremy, my son. If this woman knows about your royal side, she must be yours" said Sir Clyde.

"Actually, pa, she's engaged to Chad" said Jeremy.

Sir Clyde looked at Chad and said "Is this true?"

"Yes" said Chad nervously.

"Well then. Good for you, sir. This fine lady is marrying a commoner as she should be" said Sir Clyde.

"What? But all this time, Chad was saying it'd be disappointing" said Jeremy.

"You are a royal on my side of the family. But you take after your mother's side. But I am happy for your friend" said Sir Clyde.

"And what difference does it make if I didn't?" said Jeremy with worry.

"Oh boy. I think it's about to get bad" said Sam expecting something juicy.
