"Jeremy, how do I put this? When you turned out to be like your mother instead of your great great great grandfather... I never expected you to be this successful" said Sir Clyde.
"What? So you thought I was never going to get anywhere in life without royalty?" said Jeremy.
"Quite so. Commoners are scum in my opinion" said Sir Clyde.
"Well, this is highly insulting!" said Jeremy.
"Well... we would expect you to be more like the Duke of Wellington" said Chad.
"Yeah, and I don't understand why you're agreeing, Chad! By being my friend, he's saying you're weird too" Jeremy snapped.
"I don't think that's what he's saying" said Chad.

"And?" said Jeremy.
"That's exactly what he was saying" Chad admitted.
"Can you believe my father thinks we're both strange?" said Jeremy.
"Absolutely not!" said Greg.
"And then... I got a little carried away and defended Jeremy with his knocking technique" said Meg.

"Sir Clyde, your son is more than you think! In fact, he went through a lot! How do you think he felt when he saw you with that other woman?!" Meg shouted.
"What's this, Thomas?" said Lady Clyde.
"He never told you, ma'am? Jeremy, tell her" said Meg.
Jeremy tearfully looked at his mother and said "Mama... not long before we went to the coronation... I walked in on Pa and another woman. I didn't wanna upstage the coronation, but now I have to tell you"
Lady Clyde looked at her husband and said "Why would you?!"
"Because you raised our sons to be the commoners they are" said Sir Clyde.
Jeremy didn't want to witness a fight like that so he retreated to his room.

"I'm still so sorry about this" said Meg.
"Oh, Meg. You were trying to help, sweet. It's alright" said Jeremy.
"It is?" said Meg.
"Sure" said Jeremy.
"And while it was happening, Chad and I got out of the house for a while" said Meg.
"I was in my room so I didn't know where they were" said Jeremy.
"I'll take over from here" said Chad.
