Meg descended from the balcony and joined the two men in the living room with Alice.

"Hey" she said.

"Hey. Meg, I should have known how drunk I was. I'm extremely sorry" said Jeremy.

Meg smiled at Jeremy and said "I forgive you".

"You do?" said Jeremy.

"Yeah. And... I heard everything you just said. Did I really make you guys better men?" said Meg.

"Of course. Before we met you, we weren't interesting like you or Charles or Sam or Calvin, the Wiggles..." Jeremy began.

"I'm not interesting" said Meg.

"Yes you are. You're amazing. But... if this relationship is over because of all this... I understand" said Chad.

"Chad..." Meg began.

"If you don't want to marry me, I get it. I just want you to know... you've made me a better man. And... thank you" said Chad.

"You made us both better men. Who else would be this nice to me after I tell them one of my saddest secrets? Or understand what Chad's been through this much? Or do everything to make us both happy?" said Jeremy.

Meg was crying happy tears.

"Guys... that's the nicest thing I've ever heard from any man" she said.

She kissed Chad and gave Jeremy a gigantic hug.

"So is the wedding still on?" said Chad.

Meg smiled widely and said "Yes".

"Aww! It's so great that the trip ended on a happy note" said Sam.

"Yeah. And the wedding is still on" said Chad.

"Thank goodness. I was always willing to keep Meg happy. If the wedding was off, it'd be really hard" said Charles Wallace.

"Thanks, Charles Wallace" said Meg.
