Chapter 28 *Capture Kage*

(The news was on. It wasn't the hero's team normal tv though. It was a tv at a police station. Reo and Kazu were watching it. The news lady was talking.)

News Lady: "Yesterday was a tragic day. A tournament turned into a nightmare. A place where

heroes fight to show what they got, is what our number one hero, Portaru, set up, but it was anything but fun. Fifty-six injured and twenty-three deaths including a hero of his own team. Ruri Sora, age 21. She was originally from Tokyo when she came to our city to help and help she did. The man named Kage who we have seen much about has been captured also. His trial is next week and we will see what he has to say for himself. In my opinion he doesn't deserve a trial, but I don't get to choose. More about Kage after the break."

(A commercial about some sitcom turned on, but Kazu turned it off. They sat in silence for a moment, but then they heard a voice behind them.)

Selene: "They say her name one time, and that's all she gets."

(Kazu turned to see Selene there.)

Kazu: "Selene, you're not supposed to b-"

Selnee: "One time. That's it. Then she's forgotten."

Reo: "She's not forgotten."

Selene: "Just shut up!"

(There were tears falling down her cheeks.)

Selene: "She's dead! And I did nothing! I-I did nothing."

(Selene fell to the ground. Her face fell into her palms. She was crying uncontrollable. Kazu walked over to here.)

Kazu: "Hey, let's take you back to the house ok."

(She nodded her head. Kazu opened a portal right to her room. She walked in and he closed the portal behind her.)

Reo: "She turned crazy."

Kazu: "She lost her sister. I'd freak out if I lost my brother."

Reo: "I thought you hate your brother."

Kazu: "Well, yeah."

(Kazu walked over to look through the one way mirror. Kage was sitting there handcuffed to the table.)

Reo: "Why isn't she allowed in here again?"

Kazu: *sigh* "She'll be too emotional around this guy. He killed her sister. I can't trust she won't try to kill him."

Reo: "Eh, I say let her."

Kazu: "Jesus Reo. Why say that?"

Reo: "He deserves to die. He's killed so many people, including Ruri. I didn't like her, but she didn't deserve to die. At least let Selene get a little bit of closure."

Kazu: "Killing him wouldn't be closure. It might even make her pain worse."

Reo: "Oh really? Why's that?"

Kazu: "Well the pain won't go away if you kill him. She'll then realize that and assume her pain is never ending, but it can end. She is the only one to give herself closure. She just needs time."

Reo: "Whatever, let's just interrogate him. Stupid cops. Making us do their jobs cuz they're too scared to do it."

Kazu: "Well I don't blame them. He's a scary looking guy. I don't know if those scratches are makeup or a tattoo or what."

Reo: "Who knows, maybe even a birthmark like Kiriena."

Kazu: :A lot of weird birthmarks."

(They both walked in the room.)
