Emilio was trying to bargain with Jovian. When Jovian started crying I wanted to feel bad. No one deserved to be with out their parents,

I was in so much pain. My arm felt like it was on fire. My ribs were crushed and my stomach was in pain. I look up to Jovian as he cried. It seemed as if it was going to be okay.

Maybe we could escape alive.

Everyone can be okay.

I then saw something behind Jovian.

It was Nate.

He was holding a gun but it wasn't pointed at Jovian it was pointed at Emilio.

"Emilio no!" I yell. I jump in-front of him and all I feel is pain. A burning sensation goes through my body. We fall to the ground and i hear another gunshot go off. My eyes widen a little but Emilio was still breathing.

Oh please don't kill emilio....

Then everything turns black.

Emilio

"Kia..."

"Kia!" I yell. Her eyes were closed.

I look back up at Nate. He was looking over Jovian.

"Go Emilio. I'll take care of this." He says.

Without hesitation I pick up Kia bridal style, and turn to the exit. I start to run with her in my hands.

Please be okay. Please be alive. You don't understand . If your gone then I have no other choice but to die too.

I run out to the front of the school. A large crowd of students stood along with police officers, teachers, ambulances, firefighters, and parents were.

"HEY!" I yelled gathering all the attention. "Please help her..." I yell frustratedly. As soon as they saw me an ambulance ran to me. A man attempts to take her out my hands, but I refuse. "No I'll carry her just get the stretcher ready!" I yell.

"Come on Kia!" I say as I lay her down. Amber, Justice, Imani, and Teddy show up and they gasp at the sight of her.

"KIA!" Amber yells tears pooling in her eyes.

They haul her into the van, and I step up, but the paramedic stops me. "Son are you her relative?" He ask.

"I'm her boyfriend. If you don't move out of my face things will get real ugly real fast." I grit. Then a police officer grabs my shoulder. "Sir we're gonna need you at the police station to answer some questions please." I feel my knuckles clench together.

"I'm not going any fucking where!" I yell harshly shrugging him off my shoulder. The officer was just about my height too. He grabs my hands and I turn around and punch him right in the face. The police officer falls to the ground causing everyone to fall in shock. I go to hit him again, but Justice and Teddy grab my arms. "No don't do it Emilio!" Teddy yells.

"You son of a bitch." I spit. He stands up, and blood run downs his nose. He goes to grab his cuffs when Teddy's father grabs his shoulder.

"Leave him alone.....Emilio go on, but I'm going to need to talk to you later." He says. I nod.

They let me go and the ambulance guy moves, and I climb in. They immediately start operating on her. Checking her breathing, flashing her eyes. I look at Kia as she's placed in an oxygen mask.
