Kia
"Ow!" I yelp as my tied up curly hair was yanked back really hard.
I turn to look at the culprit and I can't even say I was suprised. Nate was chuckling with a nasty wicked grin on his face as he even manage to bump my shoulder roughly on his way past me.
"Whats your problem Nate!" I yell, curling my fist at my sides hoping he would come close so I could soccer punch him in the face.
He stops in his tracks and spins on his feet to face me. "What?" He says innocently, looking around as if he didn't do anything. "What are you talking about weirdo."
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Don't be stupid." I say already getting annoyed.
"Sorry. Didn't see you their." He says shrugging his shoulders, then continues to laugh as he walks off.
I clench my teeth together in hopes of calming down. Nate was still being the biggest bully I know, pushing me, throwing things at me, and he even put dirty tissue papers in my locker.
I haven't told Emilio about this and I wasn't. Scouts would be coming for the homecoming game next week and I didn't need him to be suspended. So I simply kept this bullying situation under wraps.
I was super exhausted today and I wish I could just skip and go home but I had a calculus test this morning and I was not stupid enough to miss it. It would take me centuries to make it up especially with my busy schedule that never seemed to stop growing.
All night my parents were arguing. I couldn't really make out anything that they were saying, but it was clear that it was a heated conversation since Jason stormed out the house. With that being said my whole night was ruined and I didn't sleep a minute.
I stager myself into the commons area and into the lunchroom searching for Emilio. I see his black hair in the distance and make my way to his destination.
He was sitting alone, oddly which made my eyebrows scrunch in confusion. He was playing on his phone when I approached him.
"Hey baby." He says putting his phone away and swooping me into a hug.
"Hola." I say tiredly, not even bothering to stop the yawn that escaped my lips effortlessly.
"Tired?" I nod and he agrees.
"Where's the goonies at?" I ask noticing Amber, Imani and the others were nowhere in sight.
"I told them I wanted you alone this morning so their somewhere in the common I believe." He says.
I nod and lay my head on his chest as his arms wrap around my shoulders pulling me closer to him. His amazing cologne automatically sends me into a euphoric feeling and I feel more relaxed than I've ever been.
He knows exactly what I need when I need it. If it wasn't for him I'm positive I would've just gave up today and stayed at home, but he gives me a good reason to be here.
"Kia I got to tell you something." He says.
I keep my head buried into his chest not wanting to leave the manly smell that was the only thing keeping me alive at this moment, "Is it bad?" I knew my words were muffled but I didn't have the strength to move my head of his chest.
"Oh no."
"Ok then, tell me" I say still keeping my head in his chest.
"My uncle will be here this weekend. I would like for you to meet him." He says excitedly, "Also you'll meet my parents to." He says the last part with more annoyance.
