Today was the day! It was homecoming and it was the rival game. I would be lying if I said this week hasn't been tensed. First off, Amber and Imani we're still being cold to Teddy and Justice. Honestly I couldn't blame them, I was still pretty upset with Emilio but I didn't want to continue the ignoring game.

Today was a day he's been looking forward too and I knew he wanted to impress the scouts but so I wanted to support him the best I could even with my mixed feelings.

Secondly, Luke hasn't been to school all week, he  hasn't even been to the practices from what I heard. Of course the boys were pissed. As much as I didn't care for Luke I sure didn't want to see him get beat up. Emilio has his mind set that the next time he saw Luke he was gonna beat him up.  I'm sure they wanted to "talk" to him but I'm actually kinda glad he hasn't came to school. I was sure that if he did he would be dead meat.

Also the incident on Saturday was also on my mind. I couldn't stop think about what Emilios uncle said.

"I was told to be here. Plus things seem to be getting suspicious around here." Tommy says making me step a little closer.

"What do you mean?" Patrick says.

"Alonzo. Alonzo is up to something. I don't know what it is but I think it's gonna involve Emilio." He says.

I wanted to know who Alonzo was. Was he a family friend, cousin, other uncle? I wasn't so sure but whoever it is wants something from Emilio and that thought alone made me nervous.

I haven't told Emilio about this since he's been trying to focus on this game, so I was thinking maybe after? I don't know! I want to tell him but I also know that if his uncle wanted him to know he would tell him himself right?

"Hey Kia you okay?" Amber ask me. I look up at her and nod. We were sitting in the bleachers waiting for the game to start I had Emilio's jersey on and some ripped skinny jeans on. After the game me and the girls were going to Imanis house to get ready for homecoming.

Last Sunday we all went out and got ours dresses, mine being black and gold, Ambers rose gold, and Imanis

Sadly I knew what Hailey was wearing since she couldn't quit telling Emilio during our lunchtime. Shes been constantly coming up to him this week, since I knew she and Emilio were homecoming king and queen that pissed me off even more.

Also Nate wouldn't leave me alone either, he's actually been strange. One day he's bullying me then the other day it seems like he's trying to make me jealous...

I was walking down the hallway Wednesday morning when I stumbled upon Nate and a cheerleader. Once he locked eyes with me he kissed her intensely. I don't know what he expected but it was disgusting.

Poor girl.

"Everyone stand on your feet for the Bentley bears!!" Yelled the announcer. We stand on our feet clapping but a figure to my right catches my attention.

I look at the person coming up the steps, it was Emilio's uncle. My stomach seemed to drop at him appearance. This whole things was driving me crazy! It's not like I did anything wrong!

You meddled into a conversation you wasn't involved in...

My subconscious reminds me.

She was right. I did, but it wasn't intentional and honestly I don't regret it. Something inside me makes me feel like I need to protect Emilio and find out what it is. If it's anything that's gonna hurt him I want to know about it.

Luckily he doesn't see me and ascends up the bleachers without a glance in my direction.
