Chapter 7 : Secret's Out

Nichole POV

                This shit is starting to get out of hand . I never told Lina about the whole Mike situation , but her ways are starting to make me reconsider being with her . I never had to deal with anything like this . She talking about suicide & wanting to kill herself & shit & it's starting to get out of control . I don't go out with Mike anymore because I broke up with him . I told him I wanted us to be friends knowing I only broke up with him so Lina wouldn't find out . I had to play this game carefully making sure I don't slip up or make the slightest mistake . I was lowball starting to lose feelings , she was putting me through so much . I was scrolling down my instagram timeline when I got a text from her .

Lina - Wyd ?

Me- Nothing , why ?

Lina - I was juss asking 

Me - Ok

        I wasn't in the mood to talk to her whatsoever . I don't take shit like that lightly . I don't know if she was playing or foreal , but I left it alone . I decided to text my cousin to see what she thought about it .

Me - Aye so guess what

Mena - What happened now 

Me - Lina talking about she wanna kill her self & some other shit 

Mena - I don't think she serious , it's prolly for attention

Me - You think ?

Mena - You keep hurting her Nick , she's trying to get your attention trust me .

Me - Maybe , we'll see what happens 

        I don't get why she would try to get my attention that way .  That's the wrong way to come about it . We had just graduated a few weeks ago & ever since then she's been acting different . I don't know if something was going on at home , but she was being extra'd out . 

On the other hand a couple of weeks ago me & Keenon decided we wanted to give things another chance . While I gave Keenon another chance I gave Jameel one too . It wasn' t the right thing to do , but why not .

To make it long story short Jameel was walking around the block with me & Keenon saw us kissing . He's been blowing me up nonstop asking what was it all about & I don't feel like explaining . I don't care , I'm doing me . This suicidal shit is fucking with my head & you could say I'm not dealing with it properly , but it is what it is . I got 3 situations I need to deal with plus another one on top of that .

I was at camp & this new girl named Nast was eyeing the fuck outta me . The natural thing to do would be stare back which I did . I could tell I was gonna have a problem with baby girl , but I wasn't stressing about that none . She kinda reminded me off an iguana . That bitch was ugly . Mostly everybody who I hung out with at school was at the camp since it was this organization for our school . I walked over to Mena and sat down .

"Did you see that new girl ?"

"Who ?" she asked .

"That lil lightskin over there ." I pointed .

She looked in the direction i was pointing & examined her . "She look like she got an attitude problem ." she said .

"Lina number 2 !" I exclaimed . Everybody who knew Lina , even if they didn't know her they knew she had an attitude problem . People were actually scared of her small ass & it was cute .

"Well she not finna hang with us ." Mena said .

I agreed . We don't need any new friends , we were good with the people we chilled with everyday . I was getting annoyed though . Every time I would turn my head shawty was looking at me . I don't know what her problem was but I decided to address it .
