"Mom. I'm not on drugs. It's not like I need rehab or anything!" I angrily say. "No Maddie, it's like to get away, it's like to help stress! A lot of people went there..like Demi Lovato. I think it would help." She says. "Okay...I'll try it. But seriously." I say. She signs me up and pays the fee. Ugh.
Then I go to dance. The girls seem to ignore me, as if they didn't know what to say.."Guys..hey..?" I say. Abby walked in. "You've ruined us."
"What?" I say to Abby. "You've not only made yourself look TERRIBLE, but you've tarnished the name of the ALDC. Go." Abby points a finger to the door. I fall on the ground and cry and then I walk out. Broken. Hurt. My mom is silent.
Everyone hates me. I start crying. "Maddie?" A familiar voice says. I look up to see My ex, Gino. "I saw it. On the news. I'm sorry." He says. His eyes begin to give me that glow. "I, and uh, that girl..we didn't work out. Maddie, can you give me a second chance." He grabs my hand and gives it a squeeze. "I don't know. I'm going to rehab-" he puts his hand on my mouth. "I have a it figured out." He says.
