A/N: Happy New Year
--Miyoung poured the tea in Seojun's cup before sitting across him at the dining table. The idol just got to her apartment. Just like he said, after she told him about Suho, he sped to the Gim girl's apartment. He was panting, leaned on the wall, when Miyoung opened the door. He immediately ran to her when he thought something was up. Now, there were both sat in silence.
"How are you feeling?" Seojun finally asked. Miyoung looked at him a few seconds then back at her cup of green tea.
"I don't know... mixed feelings," she only said.
She didn't elaborate. She didn't have to, Seojun knew why. He had been by her side, especially after the break up. He knew how she felt. He knew how happy she was that Suho was back, how much she wanted to hug him and tell him how much she loved him still. But she was also mad at him for taking a decision all by himself without asking her. Or to have ghosted her for so long.
"Since when is he back?"
"I don't know," Miyoung took a sip. "I was leaving the mount when I ran into him,"
Seojun stared at the actress. She was staring at her cup. She was reminicing the moment she met Suho again. After two years. But there was more. She was also avoiding Seojun's eyes. He was not fool. He noticed it.
"He wants to get back with you, doesn't he?" He softly smiled. Miyoung abruptly looked at him. "It wouldn't be surprising. If you want to be back with him, just go for it. You two have waited long enough, don't you think?"
"I...,"
"Don't you still love him?" Seojun asked.
"I do,"
"And don't you want to be back with him?"
"I do too,"
"Then what's holding you back?"
Miyoung bit her lips as her grip got tighter around her cup.
"You," she breathed.
Seojun was taken aback to say the least. He was the reason she was doubting? He wanted to cheer her up. Yet, he felt bad for feeling quite happy hearing her words. Though he know he shouldn't assume anything, maybe she didn't mean it the way he thought, joy was still increasing in his heart.
"I don't want to hurt you," she added. Seojun mentally cursed himself for overhyping himself. He was dumb thinking Miyoung would reject Suho for him. "And what if he leaves again? I don't want to be hurt again,"
"You will never know if you let this opportunity pass," Seojun said. "Very few are second chances in life. You shouldn't miss this one,"
"What about you though?" Miyoung nodded.
"You'll never stop worrying about others, eh?" Seojun teased. Miyoung chuckled.
Miyoung was the type to pass people's happiness before hers. She wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice part of her life if it meant Seojun would be happy. But it wasn't what Seojun wanted. What he wanted was her to be happy. Even if meant that she would be with someone else.
"If I ask you to date me, what will be your answer?" He suddenly asked.
"What?" Miyoung widened her asked.
"What is your answer?" He repeated.
Seojun stared at her straight in the eyes. It was a simple question that would determine her decision. If she says no, that she was overthinking things. She should just go back with Suho. But if she says yes, however...
