"Miyoung-ah," she heard after several knocks on the door.
Miyoung mmed in answer. The door opened. It was Somin. She walked inside the room a place a bag on Miyoung's bed side table.
"It's from Suho. He bought it for you so take a look," Manager Hwang informed. "He looked for you everywhere and told me to stay at your apartment in case you would be home. He has been waiting for you eversince yesterday, in case you would go back to school. At least pick up his calls,"
That said, Somin sent a smile to Miyoung before leaving.
Miyoung felt guilty to worry Suho so much. But she couldn't dare to look at him. People were now ill talking about him because of her. She heard what they were saying about him. They tried to justify why he was dating Miyoung. So they were picturing Suho as a mean boy with bad intentions saying he pitied Miyoung so he dated her. But to them, it wasn't something bad. It was just excuses of why he chose Miyoung and not them.
Miyoung hated the fact they were saying such things about him. The Suho they pictured wasn't the real Suho. She hated the fact they were talking ill about him because of her. Because of that post. Because of the one that uploaded the post.
Miyoung sighed. She needed to know. Miyoung needed to be sure she wasn't involved. So Miyoung stood up, grabbed her coat and left. She took the first bus and headed to Sujin's house.
School hadn't finished yet so Miyoung had to wait until Sujin came back. The Gim girl was apprehending the confrontation. She was convinced Sujin wasn't involved. She was convinced she wasn't the one who wrote that post. Sujin and Miyoung had always been good friends. Sujin just couldn't have. Sujin knew better than anyone else what Miyoung had gone through. Miyoung couldn't believe Sujin did that. And yet...
"Gim Miyoung?" She heard.
Miyoung looked up to see Sujin. The Gim girl stood up.
"Hey," Miyoung greeted.
"Did you wait in the cold? You should have called," Sujin said.
Miyoung sucked into her breath. How should she abord the subject? She was starting to think that it was absurd and that Sujin wasn't involved. She even felt guilty to doubt her friend. But there was a part of her that wasn't sure. Miyoung took a deep breath. She needed to know.
"I came to ask you something," Miyoung said, unsure.
"To ask something?" Sujin repeated.
"I got to think a lot these past two days. I know it can't be you. I mean, we're friends and we've gone through the same thing. You know better than anyone else what it feels," Miyoung said. "But Sua and Jukyung don't know about how I used to throw up to not lose weight. And I can't think about anyone else but you that knows everything. I feel bad for doubting you so please ease my mind and tell me it wasn't you,"
"If you don't think it wasn't me, why are you here?" Sujin asked.
"Because I want to hear it from you," Miyoung said.
"I'm sorry. I can't tell you what you want to hear," Sujin said.
Miyoung's heart sank as her breath got caught in her throat. She couldn't believe it. It couldn't be real. Sujin couldn't-
"Why?" Miyoung managed to say as tears reached her eyes. "We are friends for years... so why did you do that? Why did you do such a thing to me?" Miyoung's voice shivered.
"Because I hated seeing you with him," Sujin coldly said. A tone she had never used with Miyoung before. "Suho has always been treating you specially eversince he met you. He has always been seeing you. After you left, I thought I could't have had a chance. But you came back. And he sees only you again,"
