My hand buzzes as something bright shines through my hands. My eyes widen in shock "What did I do?" i ask .
"I just connected your mind with mine and made you use your powers. I usually use this method to check if a person has his powers or not. And yeah, only I can do this so don't worry about other people trying to use your powers." i just stare at her. she was one crazy woman for sure and i was really hoping i wouldn't have to see her again.
"We better get going" Lucas interrupted. Just as we are about to leave my head begins to throb and I know what's about to happen next —
'I hear a scream and it's not mine. I don't have the energy to turn around and find out what happened I just lay there. Helpless. I slowly lift my head , i was facing the kitchen door. Beside me i find a bat and things are spilt on the floor and among it is something very distinguishable and can not be mistaken for, blood. I hear footsteps and see Michael entering. But he doesn't look like himself anymore he looks more distant and blank. I scream for him to get out but he doesn't budge but collapses instead and then so do I............'
I wake up with a blanket over my face and I'm lying on a bed. blood, so much blood I hold the blanket closer and try to forget what i saw but it was too realistic to be forgotten.
i hear someone ask if i was okay but i was too engrossed in the vision that i saw to recognize who it was so i just nodded.
Their voices become distant and i can hear them talking about some kind of rare thing that i was able to do but it was hard to make out.
Lucas comes up to me and helps me up though I'm pretty sure i could have done on my own i don't stop him. He moves closer to my ear "you don't look like you're well, we could spend the night here and leave tomorrow. the proximity was too much for me to handle but nonetheless i wanted him to stay that way but that doesn't happen he moves away to look at me and waits for me to reply.
"I think we should leave ." I say finally making up my mind.
"You sure about that" he asks eyeing me like I was some kind of sick puppy.
"Look I made up my mind and I told it to you now don't ask any further or I might change my decision. Right now i want to leave so lets go.
"Karla, we're leaving, see you next time." he yelled to the other end of the hall where Karla stood. Karla on the other hand doesn't even bother opening her mouth much less her eyes, instead she just nodded and if I hadn't been staring at her all this long it was less likely that i would've noticed it.
As we came out of the house, Jason puts his hand on top of green box and the coins we put in come out onto his hand.
"So... any idea of how I am to do whatever I did in there? I mean the shooting thing from my hand or whatever that I did there."
"Just think about what you want to do...... like think about ice or something."
"Okay got it." I close my eyes and think about ice and bring my hand out in front of me I feel something cold on my hand but when I open my eyes I see nothing! Nothing happened! I look at Jason and catch him trying to control his laugh.
"What's so funny?" I say frowning. And this time he lets go and starts laughing like a maniac.
"Did you. Ha-ha. See your. Face. Ha-ha. So much effort ughh and what happened. Ha-ha will shock you." He looked like he would fall down. He picks up a small stone about the size of my fingernail. Up-close I saw that it was covered in ice it didn't take me long to realize that I froze this teeny tiny stone. No wonder this guy was laughing so much I must've looked like I was about to turn the whole city to ice but all that froze was this stone.
