Third POV:
"Please wake up! Hey!" A familiar voice calls out.
Aya slowly opened her eyes to see she's laying under a tree. She leaned against the trunk of the tree, feeling completely drained.
'All I want now is a good nap. Either cuddle up against Han-nii or Hideyoshi or Shingen, or Yukimura, Sasuke, Toshiie, Masanobu... wah~ the list goes on.' Aya thought.
"Please hang in there."
Aya heard a voice not too far away and she looked at the direction to see... Imari? When she looked at where he was looking at, she saw Yuzuki unconscious, flat on her back. Aya sighs, sucking up her anger as she force herself to stand and stumble her way to Yuzuki. Holding herself back to not vomit from the smell of blood, as she walks closer, Yuzuki woke up from Imari's pleads.
"Imari-kun?" Yuzuki slowly lift her head up, looking at her furry friend.
"I see you're awake." Aya emotionlessly said, scaring the two.
"A-Aya-san!" Yuzuki exclaims, surprised. "I'm glad you're okay."
When the girls look at Imari, he was already hiding in his tea kettle.
"Umm..." Yuzuki stutters, trying to make up an excuse.
"Imari." Aya calls out. "I know you're in there. I've been eavesdropping on your conversations ever since you've met the girl." She reveals. "You might as well come out."
Yuzuki looks shock, she didn't expect that from Aya. She had no idea Aya has been listening in on her conversations with Imari. Imari came out of his tea kettle and stares at Aya for a moment. Then he smiles in relief then looks at Yuzuki.
"What a relief!" Imari sighs. "I was so worried."
"Where are we?" Yuzuki asks, trying to get up.
"In the forest." Imari answers. "When I went looking for you, I found you collapsed here." He explains.
"Ouch!" Yuzuki flinches.
The three look at her knee to see the wound all red, but at least it looked like the bleeding stopped a while ago.
"That's right." Yuzuki said. "I was on the way back to the castle with Hanbee-kun and Aya-san when we were attacked by the yakuma..." She explains, remembering what happened. "I couldn't move anymore because I'd forced myself to run so hard."
"I'm really glad you're alright." Imari smiles, wiping happy tears from his eyes. "Anyway, we have to hurry and treat your leg."
"What happened to you, Aya-san?" Yuzuki suddenly asks.
Before Aya could say anything, the bushes rustled. All three of then turned to the source. Who or what could it be?
When Aya look at Yuzuki and Imari, they looked frightened. She could practically hear their heart beating fast out of fear.
The sound of footsteps leads Aya to know that it wasn't a 'what'. It wasn't a yakuma for sure, it didn't give off any bloodlust but instead of a calm and king like aura. If it was an enemy soldier or something... well... right now, she don't really care.
'I just wanna go back home and sleep in the crystal. Or sleep with one of my onee-chans on a soft, warm, cloud-like bed.' Aya internally cries.
