12. Sengoku Night Blood

Third POV:

"Yuzuki!" Hideyoshi roars as he dash towards the large yakuma.

He witnessed that large yakuma taking the girls right before his eyes. He felt rage running through his own heart and cursing himself for not doing anything.

The yakuma raises one of its large claws and tries to punch Hideyoshi, but missed. The punch created a smokescreen that gave Hideyoshi the opportunity to lunge at it, not caring in the world about his own safety.

"You bastard!" Hideyoshi raged.

He raised his sword above his head and strikes at the yakuma's head. The yakuma raises one of its large arms and deflects Hideyoshi's attack, causing him to fall backwards and it to slightly lose its balance. Hideyoshi lands on the ground on both feet, sliding a few feet back then he saw the yakuma swinging a punch at him. He quickly raise his sword, deflecting it and tries to push it back.

The overwhelming strength the yakuma was putting was making Hideyoshi's bones grind. Then his knees gave in and the yakuma put more strength into it, planning to crush Hideyoshi without mercy. But then Kanbee lunges at the yakuma and attacks it, managing to make a small scratch. The yakuma roars out in pain, removing its fist from Hideyoshi.

"Hanbee! Tend to Hideyoshi-sama!" Kanbee shouts.

"Hideyoshi-sama!" Hanbee runs over to Hideyoshi and kneels down beside him.

"I'm fine." Hideyoshi said, trying to stand.

Hanbee helps his commander onto his feet. Kanbee clench his sword in his hand, watching the yakuma roars in triumph as a green haze-like lights shines beneath it. White orbs of light circles the yakuma as it slowly sinks into the ground.

"Hey! Wait!" Hideyoshi immediately rushes to it.

"Hideyoshi-sama!" Hanbee calls out.

"Give me back Yuzuki and Aya!" Hideyoshi demands, but fell on his knees due to all the shaking.

But the yakuma fully sank into the ground and it just disappeared.

"Damn it! Yuzuki!" Hideyoshi screams.

Hideyoshi felt so terrible and he was worried about the girls. He knew they weren't dead, it was more like they're trapped inside the yakuma.

Mitsuhide stirred awake, he and Ranmaru leans their back against the boulder behind them as they let Mitsunari, and Kanbee treat their wounds. The wounds weren't fatal, but they needed to he treated before they become worse.

Hanbee picks up Aya's parasol that's been dropped and held it close. He promised her family he would take care of her and yet she got captured. He shook his head and turn his attention to Hideyoshi, who slowly got onto his feet.

"Are you alright, Hideyoshi-sama?" He asks

Is he alright? He wasn't hurt much physically but mentally. He was torn.

"Yeah..." Hideyoshi groans, the pain finally made its way to his nerves.

"What happened?" Mitsunari asks Ranmaru.

"The moment we arrived here, we saw a yakuma we had never seen before." Ranmaru explains, his body was still aching but not as bad as before.

The sudden encounter of the large yakuma made its way to everyone's mind.

"The one that was just here?" Hideyoshi questions.

Ranmaru nods.

Hideyoshi looks over where the yakuma disappeared. "Well, that's probably the supreme commander of the yakuma." He states.
