26. The Hidden Realm

After the battles against the Jié Shù, the Emiko Army helped the six armies escape a tragic fate and left Shinga to its end. Now in a new place, they went to the hospital for medical exam.

Third POV:

At the hospital, Yuzuki sat patiently as the nurse she's with grabs the equipments she need to do the test on her. When they reached the other side, Flare immediately ordered the pilots to drop them off at the hospital so everyone can get medical treatment. Especially her and the rest of the Sentinels. And one by one, everyone had theirs. There were times Flare or Ira had to be with them so they don't do anything reckless before getting their own tests.

So now, here she is. Yuzuki was the last person that needed to be tested since she wasn't injured badly like the others.

"Okay, this'll just be a little prick." The nurse assures as she disinfect Yuzuki's forearm. She had a elastic rope wrapped around to keep Yuzuki's sleeve up so it won't be in the way. Then she gently punctured the needle into her skin.

Yuzuki winced slightly at the feeling. She watched as her own blood got poured into the little tube attached to the needle for testing. After a few more seconds, the nurse removed the needle and immediately got a cotton to stop any blood from bleeding before applying the plaster.

Meanwhile...

"Now for an update on the collapse of an overpass under construction that occurred yesterday." The male news reporter on the holo screen announced.

All of the Commanders were in the lounge for patients admitted to the hospital. They were wearing hospital gowns, according to the rules so they could be identified as patients, no matter what they say. They were watching the news that was on about 'Cause of Accident Under Investigation' which somewhat caught their interest. The nurse had it translated in their language so they could understand, which cause them to realise Lemuria speaks in another language than their own, making them think back as to why the injured female vamps were with them during their tests. Everything was so new to them that not even Yuzuki knows what's going on.

"The large fire near the site of the accident has been extinguished." The news reporter states. "Miraculously, there have been no casualties. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation."

When the door automatically opened, Hideyoshi turned to see who it was and smiled to see a familiar brown-haired girl. "Oh, your tests are all done too, Yuzuki?" He asks.

"Yes." Yuzuki nods. She was wearing the same hospital gown just like everyone else. "They took a nice sample of my blood so it could be tested." She smiles. Then she looked around to see only the commanders in the room. "Where's everyone else?"

"They're likely in their rooms." Shingen replies. "This place is like a castle that you can't go into any rooms if you wanted to get a wack by a nurse." He sighs, sweatdropping.

Yuzuki laughs with a sheepish smile. "Well, a hospital is where sick and injured people come to get better." She explains. "So of course there will be rules to follow."

"That's right."

Everybody turned around to see Ranmaru walking in. He wore the hospital gown that's covering the bandages on his arms and neck. There's also a white plaster slapped on his left cheek as well.
