Reintroducing a slightly forgotten character, Todoroki Shouto! Shouto, say hi.
...Hi.
Anything you want to tell our readers?
Uhm....have you...fallen from heaven, because, uh...you look like an angel...?
Haha, how charming Shouto! Tell them one last thing.
I'm so sorry Izuku, I promise you're my friend, she made me say it. *Gulps slightly* Izuku is a bastard.
.....
....And please enjoy this chapter, readers.
Shouto made his way to the UA library, expressionless gaze to the concrete. He had tried to keep his mind off the angel boy for quite a while now, coming to the conclusion that it was none of his business. he wasn't able to find anything on him anyway. He searched until he had no other sources and wasn't able to learn a single thing.
'Well of course,' he inwardly mused. 'With how secretive the pros are being, they must be working really hard to keep this under wraps.'
The teen tilted his head toward the evening sky, sighing. The only way he would be able to get a hint was if he pressured Midoriya. He had a suspicion that both Tsu and Uraraka were there as well, but Tsu can go as quiet as a rock when it comes to secrets and Ochako is annoyingly good at distracting you from the topic. So, he had no other option than to bother Midoriya, who seemed much more tense for some reason, if he wanted to get any hints.
He shook his head. There was no point. He wasn't asked to go on the mission and the teachers aren't telling the class anything so obviously he shouldn't dig deeper.
Obviously.
And yet, here he was, going to the library to force the words out of Izuku.
In his defense, Izuku was even worse than him when it came to theorizing. Todoroki couldn't say he was always right, but he at least came somewhat close. Midoriya, as great as a friend as he was, couldn't lie and couldn't put two and two together, even if he had all his analytical stalker notes to assist him. If the dual haired boy could figure out the identity of the boy, maybe he could help him. The fact that the boy wasn't with the heroes yet meant that he either didn't trust them or was to dangerous to access. He refused to believe the latter.
After all, what kind of villain gets described as an angel? And he didn't cause any harm during the mission, except for Midoriya's pride, maybe, so he couldn't be as dangerous as Izuku has described.
Based on his recent actions, the green-haired teenager knew this himself.
Todorki snapped himself out of his thoughts when he heard a loud, "Todoroki-kun!" from a short distance away. He looked up and allowed the smallest of smiles to grace his features, greeting Midoriya with the friendliest,
"Hello, Midoriya kun," that he could manage. The greenete chuckled.
"Ah, as stoic as always, Todoroki-kun."
Well, at least he tried. That was another thing that he couldn't really understand about his friend. He could be sweet yet unintentionally, or so it seemed, mean at times. And as emotionless as he looked, the dual haired boy was admittedly a bit fragile.
In short, Izuku had hurt his feelings.
"........Yes, I suppose. Are you ready to begin studying?"
The freckled face nodded and walked into the library, checking in and making their way to a table a bit far from everyone else. Todoroki knew how classified this information was. He wouldn't want it to get into the wrong hands.
They studied for a few minutes before he let his impatience get the best of him. He tapped his finger against the table slightly, not trying to startle the boy before he got even an ounce of information out of him.
"Midoriya-kun."
The greenetes eyes snapped up as he dropped his pencil and smiled at the dual haired boy. "Yes, Todoroki-kun?"
He glanced away for a second before opening his mouth to speak. "I have a question."
"About?"
"................."
"Is it something illegal? A villain? Are you doing okay at home?"
Todoroki smiled again. "Ah, to answer your questions, no, no and..............Anyway, it was about the angel boy."
He dropped the volume of his voice and glanced around for any eavesdroppers. Izuku turned pale white. "Uhm, I can't share any information with you, Todoroki. I'm sorry."
Todoroki refused to give up. "No, I'm not curious about anything new. Just his quirks that you have described with me." Izuku still looked hesitant. He pushed harder. "I'm sure it won't do any harm to be a bit curious of the quirks you mentioned."
He sighed. "O-okay. I guess you're right."
And then he was off. A few times, he went off track and began to mention other things about him, like how he had two children in his custody and that he was roaming around as of now, but he immediately back tracked and began to talk about something else, still trying to be secretive.
Todoroki was a bit pleased. It was just as he thought. Get Izuku to begin muttering and he'll go off about things that aren't related to the topic. He felt a bit guilty, but it wasn't as if Izuku knew how important the information was to him. So technically, it wasn't really his fault.
Except it kind of was now.
".....and-wait, are you trying to get me to spill secrets?" Midoriya had his eyes squinted and looked at him accusingly. "You haven't said a single thing to stop my muttering."
Todoroki, for once, was grateful that he did not exactly know how to form expressions because if he did, he was sure he would look as panicked as he felt. He schooled his voice and attempted to look confused.
"Secrets? Midoriya, I wanted to know about his quirks. I know someone with a similar quirk to his and I assumed that the heroes were getting ready to put him in the hero course, based on how......great he sounded."
"That sounds reasonable but........why didn't you stop me? You do it all the time!"
"Tsuyu does that. I allow you to ramble."
Izuku's face flushed red in embarrassment. "I do not RAMBLE. I just....get a little off track and forget what I'm talking about and-oh, is that an exclusive All Might themed pen?! Where did you get it? Is it real?"
Todoroki allowed Izuku to ramble on a bit more, to erase any other suspicions, before politely asking him if he wanted to continue studying. He slightly grinned in his head.
He gained a lot of valuable information.

SNEAK PEEK
Katsuki pulled himself off the ground with a pained groan, blasting his way through the heavy fog groggily.
Damn, did getting stabbed hurt like a mother fucker.
Speaking of mother fucker, who the hell was this ass wipe?!
I'm feeling quite proud right now. Yet a little lonely.
...............
Why am I the only one in my friend group who knows of Backstreet Boys and NCYNC? What about Ne-Yo? Or Selena?
Life is lonely when you're the only one with a taste for music that isn't focused solely on the beat instead of the lyrics and the beat.
Damn.
Anyway, if you're a legend like me then tell me your favorite singer out of all the boys in Backstreet Boys or NCYNC. Or your favorite Selena or Ne-Yo song.
If you don't know these wonderful music influencers then.....I feel bad for you, but you're still a superstar!
Until next chapter!
EDIT: Past me shut yo stupid ass up--anyways hi guys.
