Chapter 5

Iskalls pov:

After finding grian and mumbo arguing about I don't even know what, I decided to say something.

Telling mumbo about class and everything, he just ran away saying bye to grian, who looked kind of hurt. But why would he look hurt ? That doesn't even make sense. 

I tried to find out what was going on between them, by just looking at grian, who glared at me. Until I just followed mumbo soon after he left, leaving grian alone. But not before giving him a glare.

All day long I wanted to know what was going on. I felt really annoyed towards grian. Especially because he glared at me before I left. Trying to find answers to my questions, I went to mumbo, my best friend, who will tell me everything, because that's what best friends do.

"So mumbo, you still didn't answer my question from before. Since when do you talk to him?"

"I don't know. We just met each other at the way here." Mumbo answered while getting his books from his looker.

"So what were you talking about?" I questioned, getting my books aswell 

"Normal stuff."

"Like?" 

"Iskall why are you even asking these things ?! This is getting annoying" Mumbo said and screamed kinda at the same time 

"What where you even doing with grian there?"

"I already told you iskall, we were just going to school together! What even is bothering you !?" Mumbo screamed at me 

"Well I just want to know what my best friend is doing !" I argued back 

"Stop it!" Someone screamed.

Me and mumbo turned around and saw ren and grian. Ren was looking at grian, because he screamed. Mumbo also looked at him so I just decided to also stare at him like everyone else was doing. 

Then ren and grian looked at us disappointed and mad. So I did the only logical thing I knew. I looked at the ground out of embarrassment. I guess mumbo felt the same. Because he also looked at his feet.

"Grian is right. This isn't how best friends talk. What happened to you to be like that ?" Ren asked sternly

"Nothing" me and mumbo mumbled. (Mumbo mumbled, funny word to say after mumbo)

They just looked at each other and just decided to let us go this time. Going away to my class, wich is lucky in an other direction than mumbos, because mumbo had English and I had science. 

In the class I had time thinking about what just happened.

Grian is a kind person but I don't understand why mumbo always talks about him. Well he did tell me once that he has a crush on him, but still I just want my best friend back.

It sounds like I am jealous of him. But I am NOT !

I just don't want my friend to completely ignore me and just hang out with someone else

Anyways better listen to the teacher.
