The weather was becoming colder, the previously blue sky now slowly turning into grey due to the dark clouds filling the sky. This type of weather made you feel as if you were in the fictional city Gotham, a smile crashing into your face when you felt a few drops of rain hitting your nose.

The rumbling on your stomach was begging for some hot noodles. The convenience store that sells your favorite pack of noodles was blocks away from your house but you'd pick up your car and drive there, enjoying the drive alone as you mumbled the lyrics from the old cd that was stuck on your cd reader.

Your dad had tried millions of times to buy you a new car but you just couldn't get rid of it. Ballie, the name you gave it, was the car your parents had given you when you got your driver's license and you knew it had been your mom who chose it and pushed your dad into buying it.

That's why you couldn't just simply buy a new one, you were still so attached to it...

After parking it, you finally got inside the store radiating excitement while seeing the noodles section. The store was almost empty except for you and the customer that was already paying at the cashier.

"Duck tape again, Mr. Nomura?" The female cashier laughed, joking "Be careful with what you buy or I'm going to start thinking you need it for questionable reasons"

Interesting, that's a Japanese name. You thought.

"Who says that's not what I am doing?" He spoke with a deep voice, smirking at her. You furrowed your eyebrows, remembering that voice from somewhere. That accent... you could swear you knew it from somewhere.

She giggled and he added "Please send a message to your boss telling him we're very grateful for his help"

When those words escaped his mouth, you felt your body freezing in panic, the realization hitting you.

There's no need to press that... We're here to send a message

Please send a message to your boss

That deep voice and the strange feeling you had matched. He was the person who attacked you a few days ago. Putting the noodles back on their belonged place you carefully hid behind the huge shelf.

You saw him leaving the store and you knew you couldn't let him escape. You needed to take him down and having paying for what he did.

Rushing out of the store empty-handed, you were careful not to make any loud noise while trying your best to have a good distance between you and the Japanese man. He suddenly turned right into a street you had never been and you waited a few seconds before going in.
