"Repeat the plan" Dongwook arched his eyebrow, giving you a serious look.
"Again?" You asked, sighing. He leaned forward, furrowing his eyebrows as he analyzed your face.
"If we fail, we die" He said sternly, trying to prove his point.
"Fine" You clicked your tongue slightly annoyed. His juniors must suffer a lot from his harsh training "We wait quietly until 2 am when the 3 guards change shifts and only two come to guard the shipping container. After making sure there's only two of them, you start shouting saying I need medical urgency"
He nodded, listening to you carefully "Keep going"
"I will distract one of the guards while you take the other one's gun" You finally said, crossing your arms slightly annoyed.
Captain Lee smiled proudly, patting your shoulder "Okay, you're ready"
A quick smile appeared on your face and you grabbed Dongwook's wrist and launched forward, tackling him to the ground.
Tilting your head to the side, adrenaline ran through your body as you looked down at his face, smiling smugly.
"I am ready. Seems like you aren't though" You told him, your breath hitting his face. Watching him, you saw him with a surprised look, his eyes widening.
Dongwook bit his lip before he started to laugh out loud. Seeing him laughing that way made you also chuckle as you remove yourself off the top of him, offering your hand to lift him.
"People think I can't defend myself, they only see a defenseless lady" You started, looking straight into his eyes "So start seeing me as someone who can take care of myself and not your boss's daughter"
He grabbed your hand, his warm and long fingers wrapping around your smaller one, accepting your help.
"Who said I ever thought of you like that?" With your help he lifted himself, speaking softly "I know you can take care of yourself. But it doesn't mean you know how to properly defend yourself..."
With the last sentence being said, Dongwook lift his white shirt carefully, revealing a huge scar above his hip bone "I had years of self-defense and I still fail sometimes, this was a bullet that I barely managed to dodge but it still left its trail of my skin, it burned it"
