All the guards across the dock were now looking for you and there were many of them. Not to mention they possibly called backup and more of them are on their way. You and Dongwook were currently hiding between a gap of two containers, it was dark and tight which was making you feel anxious and claustrophobic.
Since it was dark, the fading light coming from the lamps was barely enough for you to see Dongwook's silhouette in front of you, you could see his senses were on high alert by the way he slowed down his breathing and the way he clutched his gun.
You whispered "They are getting closer, what should we do?"
"We need to keep moving until we find an open container"
The Captain grabbed you by the arm as he kept his guard up while he whispered for you to stay close to him. Moving with the shadows, both of you walked between the different and rusty containers while you watched the guard's lanterns getting closer to you.
"Alpha 40, any signs of the prisoners?"
You froze on your spot as you listened to the radio that was too close.
"Negative. Still searching"
When the path was clear and there was no sign of guards, you both continued your way silently and you finally saw a red container with its door opened. You two needed to take cover and hide inside a container, there was no way you could keep running around the docks and hide in the shadows because it wouldn't take long until you crossed paths with some of the guards.
"I'm going to check inside, stay hidden between the containers. If it has enough cargo inside I'll call you back" Dongwook whispered, starting to head towards it until you stopped him by grabbing his arm.
"Be careful" You pleaded, your lips trembling.
"I will" The corner of his mouth turned upwards in a small smile.
You watched the Captain squeezing his body as he made his way inside the container, not wanting to move the heavy doors. The anxiety you were feeling led you to start biting your nails until you felt the taste of blood on your tongue.
He should've been out by now.
"You little rat, you thought I wouldn't know you'd hide here right?" Your eyes widened as you saw Dongwook walking backward with his hands up while the guard aimed his gun at him while you noticed him carrying Dongwook's gun on his belt.
