The Gangotri Glacier
The next morning, I woke up at six. Dreams had kept my night from being peaceful but I could hardly recall what they were. I cleaned myself and packed some clothes and food in BOD. Then I went downstairs to pick Aaliya from the ground floor.
She was having a deep peaceful sleep but I had to wake her up. Her hair was a complete mess that might have crept Ritika out if she was alive. If they both lived at Prinstin at the same time it would have been fun to watch. They were so obtuse. Not as much as Kritika and her but still.
I had met Kritika in the sword fighting arena when I was practicing and later sat with her during dinner while the others sat with Kalki. Aaliya chose to sit with me and Kritika.
Even now, in the morning, I was still not ready to patch things up with Kalki.
After she got ready and packed some belongings (though I thought she could just create something) we left for the main lobby.
We were supposed to meet Kalki there by seven. I munched on a sandwich while Aaliya had a glass of milk.
It was two minutes to a seven now and Kalki wasn’t here yet. Just when my temper was at its peak, he had to do something like this. The grandfather’s clock struck seven and I saw his silhouette jogging towards us. “Sucks that I can’t say he’s late now”. I thought. Then realized I said it aloud. Oops. Now both of them were staring at me like I was…well, peacock head.
“Let’s leave then.” Kalki said. He sounded depressed. I figured it was because not counting today, we had three days till 31st of December, 2012.
“Can’t you just slow time so that the world never ends?” I asked Kalki.
“No, peacock head. I can’t. Even if time is slowed down, the world will end one day and we’ll be there. When I slow down time everything slows down too including our brains and heart rate and metabolism. And no, I cannot kill Kamha just by looking at it. I lose all my powers when I come into its range.”
“Useless,” I mouthed and then turned towards Aaliya. “Can’t you just create the Sword of Asi?”
“I can’t create was has already been created. The sword already exists.” Aaliya said and shrugged.
“Natasha, there is no shortcut method. We need to find the Sword of Asi and destroy the monster with only that weapon.” Kalki said.

“Alright,” I said over the winds. “Now where do we go?” we were out of Prinstin Academy and I was riding Harpie where as Kalki rode his dragon bat monster. Aaliya had created her own pet eagle. We had just left Prinstin without any direction. It was Kalki’s plan, I don’t know what he wanted to achieve. The sword of Asi could be located anywhere in the universe.
I was thinking all this stuff when a sudden thought came into my mind and everything automatically clicked.
“Kalki, we have to land. I know where the Sword of Asi is, I am absolutely positive about it this time”.
“Are you sure? You know we don’t have any time to waste!”
“”if everything goes according to your stupid plan we’ll be searching the whole universe.” Without waiting for his reply, I ordered Harpie to descend.
“Natasha, wait!” Kalki was saying but it was too late. Harpie flew especially fast anxious to leave Kalki’s pet. Aaliya’s eagle minded him at first. Now he tolerated her.
