I meet the supposed savior

The feeling last about an instant  and when I opened my eyes, I was in front of Lord Vishnu in his palace in the middle of the sea.  Lord Vishnu was sitting on Ananta and his blue form glowed in the sea. He was holding the conch, club, mace and chakra in his four hands.  Beside him goddess Lakshmi was sitting.  They seemed to be enjoying a light hearted conversation. In front of them stood the sage, Narad, a devotee of Vishnu.  He was repeating a name of Vishnu.

I felt awkward and had a guilty trespassing feeling so I was relieved that goddess Lakshmi saw and welcomed me which saved me from coughing as a way of letting them know I was there. “Natasha, we have been waiting for you.  I guess you know the facts about the prophecy and have come to know more from lord Vishnu.” She welcomed me and I stepped forward into the line of vision of Vishnu.   The gods were really beautiful and had a powerful yet gentle aura around them. Even though they had mortal features, one could tell they were in some manner supernatural.

“Oh Natasha, the only one who truly cares about that planet.  Come to me and ask me what you have so longed to.  I agree to simplify all your doubts and calm your mind.  The Prinstin know nothing.  I wish you could have had some more time for preparation.” He said and shook his head.  The god raised his hand and my clothes dried up.   I folded my hands and greeted the other three in my line of vision.  Then keeping my eyes low, I addressed Vishnu with all my uncertainties.

“Lord Vishnu, I feel like a bird who has lost her path on a migration trip.  I know that I am the only one who can find Kalki and I have faith in myself, I believe I can find him.  Subconsciously I think I know where he is.   But my conscious mind refuses to do anything but worry about the present state of affairs.  I hope lord that you will be able to get this lost and lonely bird back to the correct path.” I said looking up with a plea in my eyes.   (And okay, so I was exaggerating a bit but you might think you need to impress gods on your first meeting with them).   I wanted hope and reassurance.

“Natasha, worry and anger are the two worst things in situations like these.  You must control them and try to remain serene and diplomatic.  The information that you want is not my authority to give away and I do believe that you do know where Kalki is.  You need to think and read and you will know where he sleeps waiting for you to arrive.  If you still need any assistance then you must pay a visit to goddess Saraswati.”

“Thank you for your guidance, lord.  I’ll surely try my best to protect the planet.” I replied and bowed.

“And Natasha, this avatar of mine is very different my previous incarnations.  For one, it is more like Kalki has a mind of his own.  He is simply my incarnation for name.  The real truth is poles apart from what the Vedas, Puranas and the Upanishads say.” Lord Vishnu said and I realized that the god’s perfect features were trying to tell me something, lord Vishnu was trying to warn me, though about what, I had not figured out yet.

“I would like to inform you about one more thing.  Finding Kalki is not all your duty. You need to fight for and protect the Earth.  It is for people like you that I have been preserving the world for so long,” Lord Vishnu said.  “I do agree with lord Shiva, the Earth has hardly any good left.  It has become a planet of malevolence and evil.  But always remember this Natasha, where the evil is strongest, there might be the most hope.  You know that there is still some good left, and you must fight for them.  One day this planet has to be destroyed to start again, but I believe, that time is yet to come.   Now I cannot do anything else.  You are the preserver now Natasha.” I got another feeling that he was hinting something, but I could not figure out what.

“If I have to find Kalki, then I better leave fast. Goodbye lord.” I said and bowed.

“Natasha, take this with you, it will help you.” Goddess Lakshmi said handing me a snow white owl which she had conjured from thin air.  It was her symbol.  I gave her a nod and a smile and then I closed my eyes and concentrated and was back in the ocean beside Dimsie, the carp and my owl which I named Harpie.  Harpie was fine underwater too.   I kept him in the bag professor C had given me.
